Today we’d like to introduce you to Lewis Pruitt.

Hi Lewis , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I didn’t come from a background of resources or privilege I came from the grind, the real world, and the belief that creativity could change my life. I started with nothing but a camera, a vision, and a purpose. At first, photography was just a way to express myself. Then it became a way to feed my family. Today, it’s a legacy and a blueprint for others chasing their dreams.

I built Perfect Shot Studios LLC from the ground up not just as a business, but as a platform to empower communities, tell stories, and create opportunities for creatives, entrepreneurs, and everyday people with extraordinary dreams. I’ve expanded into film, television, podcast production, creative direction, and education because my goal has always been bigger than just taking pictures I’m building a multimedia empire and opening doors for others to walk through.

What shaped me most weren’t wins it was setbacks, sacrifices, and moments where quitting would have been the easy choice. But I chose faith, consistency, and growth. I learned business, branding, storytelling, and strategy not in a classroom, but in real life, by doing the work and proving myself over and over again.

Today I’m a published author, a filmmaker, a studio owner, and a creative entrepreneur but more importantly, I’m a man who turns vision into reality and inspires others to do the same. My journey is still being written, and every chapter is dedicated to those who believe in themselves enough to bet on their gifts.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been anything but smooth. I didn’t step into this industry with a safety net no big investors, no blueprint handed to me, no guaranteed support. I had to learn business, branding, creative direction, and leadership all at the same time while still trying to build my name and put food on the table.

There were moments where the bookings slowed down, where equipment broke, where people doubted me or tried to box me in. I faced the challenges most entrepreneurs won’t talk about self-doubt, financial setbacks, losing relationships along the journey, and starting over more than once. I had to fight through learning the business side just as hard as I fought to master the creative side.

I also had to build respect not just as an artist, but as a businessman proving that what I do isn’t a hobby, it’s a career and a vision with real value. Many doors didn’t open for me right away, so I built my own. Every obstacle forced me to grow mentally, creatively, and spiritually. I learned to bet on myself, move with integrity, stay consistent, and trust that hard work + God’s timing always wins.

Those struggles didn’t break me they shaped me. Today, they allow me to operate from experience, not just talent. And they inspire me to help others who feel unseen or overlooked, because I know firsthand that the underdog can become the leader with the right mindset and relentless grind.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a creative entrepreneur and the founder of Perfect Shot Studios LLC, where I specialize in photography, film production, podcast production, brand development, and creative storytelling. My work spans multiple lanes from capturing powerful moments on camera, to producing cinematic projects, to helping brands and individuals tell stories that move people and elevate their presence.

I’ve built a multi-disciplinary creative company that services artists, business owners, public figures, and everyday people who want to be seen, heard, and represented with excellence. I’m known for my eye, my direction, and my ability to turn vision into reality whether that’s through visual content, studio production, or full-scale film concepts and series.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just create content I build experiences, relationships, and platforms. I understand branding, storytelling, emotion, and impact. I help people not only look amazing, but position themselves for growth, exposure, and opportunity. My work is rooted in authenticity and purpose, and I take pride in being able to bring out the best in whoever steps in front of my lens or into my creative space.

What I’m most proud of isn’t just the art it’s the journey, the transformation, and the fact that I’ve built all of this from the ground up. I’ve created something real, something that feeds families, creates jobs, inspires others, and represents what happens when talent meets discipline, faith, and vision. Every project, every shoot, every production is a step toward a bigger legacy one that will outlast me and continue to open doors for others.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The most important quality that has driven my success is relentless consistency backed by faith and vision. Talent started my journey, but discipline, resilience, and staying committed on days when motivation wasn’t there that’s what built everything I have today.

I don’t wait for opportunities I create them. I show up when it’s hard, when it’s quiet, when nobody is clapping, and when the results are still catching up to the effort. I believe success isn’t about who’s the most gifted, it’s about who refuses to stop. Every skill I have, every level I’ve reached, came from willingness to learn, grow, adapt, and bet on myself even when the path wasn’t clear.

I don’t just dream I execute. I don’t just talk vision I build it brick by brick. That mindset, paired with humility, belief in God, and the ability to see greatness in myself and others, is what separates me and keeps me moving forward.
