Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Robinson.

Hi Anthony, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story started with a simple love for beauty and helping people feel confident. I began my journey in cosmetology school back in the early ’90s, not knowing it would turn into a lifelong career. Over the years, I continued to grow by going back to school for massage therapy and later esthetics, because I wanted to offer more and truly understand the science behind skin and wellness.

Eventually, I opened Kevant Salon & Spa, where I’ve been able to combine everything I’ve learned and create a space that focuses on beauty, care, and community. My career also expanded into education, teaching esthetics and later becoming a regional educator for top brands like Cosmedix, PCA Skin/EltaMD, and HydraFacial.

It’s been a long road of learning, growing, and adapting, but every step has been worth it. What started as a passion has become my purpose, helping others look and feel their best while inspiring the next generation of beauty professionals.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like most journeys, mine came with its share of ups and downs. When I first started, there were times I doubted myself, wondering if I was good enough or if I’d made the right choice. Building a business from the ground up wasn’t easy either. There were financial challenges, long hours, and moments when I had to balance being a professional, a mentor, and sometimes even a therapist for clients all in one day.

The pandemic was another major test. Keeping the business afloat while making sure my team and clients felt safe took a lot of faith, creativity, and perseverance. But through it all, those challenges taught me resilience and reminded me why I started, to create a space where people could look good, feel good, and be cared for. Every obstacle ended up shaping me into a stronger, more grounded version of myself.

Something that might surprise people who know me or my brand is that I’m actually a bit of an introvert at heart. Even though I spend my days connecting with people, teaching, and being hands-on with clients, I recharge best in quiet moments. I love peace, reflection, and time to reset, it keeps me grounded and creative.

Another thing people might not know is that I started this journey with very little, just passion, faith, and determination. Every skill, license, and business milestone came from years of hard work, sacrifice, and belief that I could create something meaningful. Behind the polished brand is someone who’s still learning, evolving, and genuinely grateful for every person who has trusted me along the way.
