Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystasia Edwards.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey really started from a simple place — wanting to make people feel good.
I’ve always loved beauty, self-care, and finding little rituals that help you show up as your best self. I started sharing that online just for fun, posting GRWMs, hair content, and little lifestyle moments. Over time, people started resonating with my honesty, my humor, and the way I stay real about the ups and downs of beauty and self-care.
From there, things took off. Brands like Fenty, Philosophy, Real Techniques, and JustFab noticed my content, and I began partnering with companies I genuinely love. As my platform grew, my focus became even clearer: helping people feel confident, seen, and cared for — inside and out.
Today, I create beauty, skincare, fashion, and lifestyle content full-time, and it still feels surreal. It’s been a mix of creativity, consistency, and just showing up as myself. And I’m grateful every day that what I love doing has turned into a community that supports and grows with me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a completely smooth road — but every challenge shaped me.
Like most creators, I dealt with the ups and downs of growth: inconsistent engagement, learning how to balance my personal life with content creation, and figuring out how to stay motivated even when the numbers didn’t always reflect my effort.
I’ve also had my own personal challenges. Managing PCOS while trying to show up online, dealing with body changes, fatigue, and gut health issues — all of that made it harder to stay consistent at times. But it also pushed me to prioritize wellness and create content that’s more real and relatable.
Another struggle was confidence. In the beginning, it’s easy to compare yourself to other creators, to wonder if your voice matters. But the more I leaned into my authenticity, the more my community grew.
So no, it hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road — but every bump taught me something. It taught me resilience, patience, creativity, and the importance of showing up as myself. And honestly, those lessons are what keep me grounded today.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a beauty, skincare, fashion, and lifestyle creator — but more than that, I’m someone who uses content to help people feel good from the inside out.
I create everything from GRWMs and hair videos to skincare education, wellness routines, and lifestyle content. My niche blends beauty with self-care and real-life transparency, and I think that balance is what people connect with.
I’m known for my clean aesthetic, my calming-yet-fun vibe in videos, and my ability to make everyday routines feel joyful and attainable. Lately, my blush-centered videos have been going viral, and it’s been amazing seeing people recreate the looks and join the conversation.
I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with brands I genuinely love — like Fenty, Philosophy, Real Techniques, JustFab, Paula’s Choice, and more. But what I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built. People tell me my content feels comforting, encouraging, and relatable, and that means more to me than any metric.
What sets me apart is my combination of authenticity, education, and aesthetic storytelling.
I don’t just show products — I show the experience. I make beauty and self-care feel accessible, while also being intentional about highlighting mental health, balance, and routines that feel good, not forced.
At the end of the day, my work is about reminding people that beauty is personal, self-care is essential, and you deserve to feel confident and cared for.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The quality that’s been most important to my success is consistency — paired with authenticity.
I show up as myself, even on the days when things aren’t perfect, and I think people connect with that. Staying consistent helped me improve my craft, understand my audience, and build trust over time.
But just as important is staying true to who I am. I don’t try to fit into every trend or every aesthetic. I focus on creating content that feels aligned with my personality, my values, and my journey with beauty and self-care. That authenticity is what keeps my content grounded and relatable, and it’s what continues to attract the right community and brand partnerships.
So for me, it’s the combination of showing up — even when it’s hard — and showing up as myself that’s made all the difference.
