Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonni Vann.

Hi Jonni, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was moving furniture around at a very young age, maybe 8. I spent a lot of time creating beauty inside my home as the years went by. I had friends ask me to help them decorate because they loved what I did in my home.
Then I went to an “empowering womens seminar” where I heard Terah Katherine Collins speak on Geng Shui. She literally rocked my world and I’ve been doing what I call spiritual decorating (with intent) ever since.
Feng Shui gives me a why and where for everything in an environment. I will always be grateful that I learned this beautiful art and science.
My clients appreciate that I do my best to work mostly with what they have…keeping their cost lower than if they had to purchase mostly new items.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggle for me is because I use mostly what my clients already have, the photos aren’t like magazine photos of perfect new rooms.
Their rooms feel new to them and beautiful to them, not necessarily to other people. You can feel the difference, people always notice the shift in energy and photos rarely get the message across.
The pictures I include here are some “new” rooms, a room that used a lot of what was already there with a few pieces brought in and the last 2 photos are a before and after. The one with the large painting is the ‘after”

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My clients enjoy working with me, they trust me and enjoy the adventure.
Very few feng shui practitioners are designers and vice versa. Design using feng shui principles is the heart and soul of my business.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck…but maybe word of mouth that has brought new clients…
