Inspiring Conversations with Nikita of Glow And Haze

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikita.

Hi Nikita, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Glow and Haze started as a small idea that grew out of my love for creating handmade bracelets. I’ve always enjoyed making things that help people express themselves, so I began experimenting with different designs and styles. At first, it was just a hobby for friends and family, but as more people started noticing and complimenting my work, I realized it had real potential.

That support pushed me to turn Glow and Haze into a small jewelry brand. I focused on making simple, meaningful, and affordable bracelets that make people feel good when they wear them. Throughout this journey, I’ve learned a lot about design, customer feedback, and managing a small business. Today, Glow and Haze reflects my creativity, my work ethic, and my passion for building something that brings people joy.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. When I first started Glow and Haze, one of the biggest challenges was learning everything on my own. I had to figure out how to price my bracelets, where to get good materials, and how to make each piece look consistent and high quality. There were times when orders were slow, or I wasn’t sure what designs people would actually want.

Another struggle was balancing the creative side with the business side. I love making jewelry, but I also had to learn about marketing, budgeting, and communicating with customers. There were moments where I doubted myself, especially when things didn’t go the way I expected.

But every struggle taught me something important. It helped me become more organized, patient, and confident in my work. The challenges are a big part of what helped Glow and Haze grow into what it is today.

We’ve been impressed with Glow And Haze, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Glow and Haze is a small jewelry brand that focuses on handmade bracelets designed to be simple, meaningful, and easy to wear every day. I specialize in creating pieces that blend style with comfort, using quality materials and clean designs. Every bracelet is made by hand, which gives each piece a personal touch that you don’t always find in mass-produced jewelry.

What sets Glow and Haze apart is the intention behind every design. I don’t just make bracelets to look pretty—I create pieces that tell a story, match different moods, and help people express themselves in a subtle but powerful way. I put a lot of care into choosing colors, charms, and styles that feel uplifting and positive.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the reaction people have when they wear my pieces. Customers tell me my bracelets make them feel confident or serve as a little reminder of something important in their life. That’s what Glow and Haze is about—adding a small moment of joy to someone’s day.

For anyone learning about my brand, I want them to know that Glow and Haze is built on creativity, intention, and quality. Whether someone is looking for a simple everyday piece or something more personal, my goal is to create bracelets that feel special, meaningful, and made with care.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5–10 years, the jewelry industry—especially small handmade businesses—is going to become even more personal, creative, and digital. People are moving away from mass-produced pieces and looking for jewelry that feels unique, meaningful, and connected to the person who made it. That trend is already growing, and I expect it to continue.

I also see a big shift toward personalization. Customers want bracelets that reflect their personality, their story, or something they care about—whether that’s custom colors, initials, charms, or special messages. Small businesses have a big advantage here because we can create things that feel personal and one-of-a-kind.

Another trend is the rise of social media and online selling. Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and small business marketplaces are going to keep shaping how jewelry brands grow. A lot of success will come from connecting with customers online, showing the making process, and building real relationships with buyers.

Lastly, I think people will continue valuing high-quality materials, sustainable practices, and handmade craftsmanship. Customers want pieces that last and brands they feel good supporting.

Overall, the future of the bracelet and jewelry industry is leaning toward creativity, authenticity, and personal connection—and that’s exactly where small handmade brands shine.
