Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Reardon.
Hi Ben, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always been a fan of hot sauce. I accidentally created the Benny Sauce Original Heat on my day off over four years ago. I never did it for the money, I just wanted to create a product to share with friends and family. It has also allowed me to get more exposure and my name out there.
What started as an accident and a side project, suddenly grew to an artisan chef inspired retail business. We strive for products that deliver flavor and not just heat. Products that are carefully curated, sourced, and executed on a small batch basis to ensure quality. All of are products use fresh peppers and ingredients. No extracts or powders are used.
Having started in North Carolina, I recently moved back to Georgia about two years ago. Doing so has allowed further business growth and also has allowed my parents to be directly involved as well. We are truly a family owned and operated company. Although our products are still manufactured and bottled in North Carolina, we are now Georgia owned and operated.
What started as one flavor, is now four flavors, with much more to come over the next few years. Our next products will be not just hot sauce, but items such as bbq sauces, drink mixes, spice rubs, etc.
Be sure to check out our website and social media. We plan to be at the Atlanta Hot Sauce Festival on 11/15/2025, as well as Cumming City Center on 11/22/2025.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Recent macro trends have caused some product sourcing issues.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am primarily known for my work and career in hospitality. I have a very diverse background and experience within the culinary industry and catered events. I was fortunate enough to work at one of the top catering companies in the country. At the time they were on the LCA list (Leading Caterers of America). During my tenure I gained immense knowledge pertaining to my craft and everything hospitality.
When I am not cooking or making a new food retail product, I enjoy photography and music. I recently started a company to capitalize on this. Using traditional cameras along with drones, I enjoy creating videos that showcase particular projects. I am able to integrate my music production into this to curate a great experience for the specific client.
I would say what I am most proud of is my ability and drive to keep learning. I challenge myself everyday and figure out new ways to combine all the things I am passionate about not only into my daily life, but also my businesses.
