PreRack IT specializes in on-premise data center hardware procurement and third-party maintenance. We help by offering certified pre-owned hardware and maintenance contracts that reduce costs by up to 70% compared to OEM pricing, while extending hardware lifespan beyond vendor End-of-Service-Life dates. Our vendor-agnostic, flexible approach and rapid response times set them apart, making us a reliable one-stop resource for complex data center challenges.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?

When we started in the industry, the largest storage disk drive was a 1TB SATA drive—today, we see over 100TB of all-flash capacity in a 2U enclosure, showcasing just how far technology has come.
Key trends shaping the future include a growing need for flexible third-party maintenance as hardware OEMs accelerate their EOSL schedules, and the push toward vendor-agnostic solutions to reduce total cost of ownership.
