Hi K.T. , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
to be honest, I started my career off by reciting other people‘s lyrics like TI Soulja Boy And the Migos, but after a while, but one day I got bored and decided that I wanted to try and make music myself so I did when I first started rapping. I went by the name King truth. Which was a mixture of the rapper T.I.’s Name which is where the “King” came from. And the other half of my name came from a movie called let it shine, which is where the “truth” came from I started my rap career when I was like 11 or 12, but when I first started, nobody really liked my music because I was making like alternative rap, which is what I still make to this day. But back then, I used to get clown and bully for it, but I didn’t really care. Itdidn’t phase me well yes It did but I didn’t let it stop me. I think around 2018 that’s when I kind of started getting a little love off my music. I still haven’t made it to the top yet but I feel like it’s coming. I know it’s coming but from 2018 to 2025 it started getting better and better and this year in 2025 is the most love that I’ve gotten in my music which is crazy to me because I never thought I’d get it considering the fact that I’ve been rapping since I was 11 years old and I’m turning 20 this year.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the struggles that I’ve had along the way was like a name change. I had to change my name because there was a dude already named King truth, and he was already popping a little bit. It looked like he was popping, but after I realize that somebody already had that name it kind of hurt my feelings but I didn’t let it affect me. I just shortened the king truth down to K.T. Which literally still means King truth then I added the word nation to my name because I feel like it’s my world and then added the words “Xo”on the end because you know, I just have love for everybody and want love for the world, but I think other than that, there wasn’t really any struggles
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m known for rapping and kinda like singing in my songs. That’s really what I’m known for,,what I’m most proud of is to be honest how far I’ve came in my career like when I first started I wouldn’t even get views I wouldn’t get no love I wouldn’t get none but recently I started doing shows and I’ve been getting some recognition. I love you. I’m thankful for it so I’m really proud of that, when it come to Gangs I really stay out the way I don’t try to get into none of that I just make my money and chill

Shout out to my brother Jax shout out to my brother AlmightyLenn and shout out to my brother, JXO they the ones that pushed me as far to keep going, and I appreciate them. They really the reason I am who I am today we Almighty Lenn he the ones that be making my beats and it goes the same way with JXO,He makes my beats aswell, Jax be hopping on a lot of my songs same with Almighty Lenn, if I’m gonna be honest, one of the most known songs that I have is literally with Lenn, but other than them, I ain’t really have no mentors or no supporters. In the beginning. I got supporters now, but they not going as hard as my brothers. Are and I love them forever.
