Conversations with Amr And Adam Elzeidy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amr And Adam Elzeidy.

Hi Amr and Adam, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Motion Life Physical Therapy was born from a deep-rooted passion for healing and a vision to bring personalized care directly to the homes of patients. Our lead DPT, Dr. Amr Elzeidy, has worked as a Doctor of Physical Therapy for over 35 years in home health and clinical settings across Chicago, Orlando, and Atlanta. With a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy, Dr. Elzeidy has successfully treated thousands of patients and built a reputation for addressing root causes rather than offering surface-level solutions.

As his son, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing and now lead the business side of the company. My sister, a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a pre-med degree and a passion for medical arts, joined as our second-in-command. Together, we recognized a major gap in the Atlanta healthcare market: a lack of quality in-home physical therapy care. Motion Life was founded to close that gap — bringing licensed, compassionate professionals into patients’ homes to restore strength, mobility, and confidence.

I began building the foundation by designing the website, leading outreach campaigns, and forming strategic partnerships to bring awareness to our services. My sister contributed by developing our branding, securing essential medical equipment, and shaping our visual identity with our now recognizable logo.

We’ve also assembled a highly skilled care team, including:

Jami Hall – Speech-Language Pathologist

Jared Lyon – Physical Therapist Assistant

Samuel Abraham – Occupational Therapist

We are also in the process of training a new generation of Physical Therapists under the guidance of Dr. Elzeidy. Each new therapists is trained in the same methods and values that we uphold at Motion Life: an emphasis on long-term patient rehabilitation, personalized care, and treating the root causes of mobility challenges, not just short-term fixes.

This tight-knit, family-rooted team allows us to provide comprehensive care while staying deeply personal in our approach. Though we are still a young company, we’ve already begun treating patients across the greater Atlanta area, receiving calls from across the U.S. from those seeking our unique care model. Our goal is to grow into new regions and revolutionize how physical therapy is delivered—restoring not just movement, but independence and quality of life.

Our greatest pride is helping people regain two of life’s most valuable assets: motion and health.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This company has been 35 years in the making. Dr. Elzeidy has always dreamed of starting a project of this size. It wasn’t until we united as a family, combining our skills to create a business model that truly works, that the vision came to life. With the continued support of our mother, Dr. Elzeidy’s wife—who helped instill the values this company needed to succeed, we’ve built something deeply rooted in purpose. The road hasn’t always been smooth. But our shared commitment to patient care and our belief in Motion Life’s mission have helped us push through every challenge. From licensing to structuring operations, we’ve remained focused on building something that uplifts communities and helps patients regain their strength for themselves and their families.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am Dr. Amr Elzeidy a Doctor of Physical Therapy with specialization in orthopedic cases, geriatric care, sports medicine, pain management, and enhancing overall quality of life. Over the course of his 35+ year career, I have had the privilege of treating thousands of patients across multiple cities, consistently focusing on long-term healing rather than short-term fixes.

What I’m most proud of in my work is helping patients recover from some of the most life altering conditions—strokes, Parkinson’s disease, and severe fractures. There’s nothing more fulfilling than watching a patient regain their mobility and reclaim their independence. That transformation, from helplessness to hope, is what drives me every day.

What sets me apart is the depth of experience I bring and the core belief that physical therapy is not just a treatment, it’s a path to restoring dignity, strength, and joy in a patient’s life. The care model I’ve developed is not just effective, it’s personal. Every patient is treated with the same commitment and respect I would give to a member of my own family.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success to me is seeing real, lasting change in the lives of the people we serve. It’s not about titles or numbers, but about watching a patient who couldn’t walk begin to take steps again, or a family that once felt hopeless now feeling empowered by their loved one’s progress. At Motion Life, we define success through the lens of care, when patients feel stronger, more independent, and more hopeful.

Dr. Elzeidy has treated thousands of individuals across cities like Chicago, Orlando, and Atlanta, and our proudest moments aren’t in revenue reports but in the smiles of the people who’ve regained their motion and quality of life. Success is also building something meaningful with our family, combining medical expertise, business skill, and deep values, guided by the strength and belief of our mother.

That’s what success looks like to us: healing people, empowering families, and creating something built to last.
