I didn’t grow up with a business handbook or anyone laying out the blueprint for me. I’m a mother who wanted more , more stability, more income, and more freedom for my family. One day I realized that nothing changes until you decide to change it, so I bet on myself.
I started learning taxes on my own, one client at a time, right from home. As I grew, I discovered how much I loved helping people feel confident about their finances. That passion turned into Elevated Wealth Group a brand built on education, empowerment, and giving everyday people a chance to elevate their lives.
What began as a way to create a better future for my children has grown into a full company, a community, and a movement. Today, I help mothers, entrepreneurs, and aspiring professionals learn the skills that helped me transform my life.
My story is proof that you don’t need perfect circumstances to build something meaningful. You just need the vision, the courage to start, and the commitment to keep going. And now, I’m expanding into the Metro Atlanta area to continue uplifting and empowering others on their own wealth journey.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has definitely not been smooth. When I started, I didn’t have guidance, funding, or a mentor to show me the way. I had to learn everything on my own taxes, business operations, leadership, marketing all while balancing motherhood and real life.
One of the hardest parts was trusting myself enough to keep going. Building something from the ground up can feel overwhelming. There were moments of doubt, slow seasons, and times when I had to push through exhaustion and still show up for my clients and my family.
But every challenge taught me something important: resilience, discipline, and the power of believing in your own vision even when it gets tough. Those experiences shaped me into the businesswoman I am today and helped me build Elevated Wealth Group into a brand centered on empowerment, growth, and helping others elevate their lives.
Each obstacle became fuel, and it made my journey and my purpose even stronger.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice for anyone just starting out is to give yourself grace. Building a business while juggling life, motherhood, or a full-time job is not easy, but it is absolutely possible. Take it one step at a time and focus on progress, not perfection. I also wish I knew earlier that you don’t need validation from outsiders. Protect your vision, stay committed to your goals, and surround yourself with people who see your value. Not everyone will understand your journey, but the right people will find you as you grow. Stay teachable and authentic when you remain true to who you are, you will naturally attract the crowd that’s meant for you. And most importantly, invest in learning. Whether it’s mentorship, research, or building your skills, knowledge will save you time, money, and stress. You don’t have to figure everything out alone just stay open, stay consistent, and keep going.
