Moran, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Rebillia began with a simple problem that Snir and I repeatedly saw while working closely with businesses. Companies were trying to adopt subscription models to grow their revenue, yet customers increasingly demanded flexibility, control and the ability to adjust plans on their own terms. Businesses could not support that level of customization, and customers were frustrated by rigid, outdated systems.
We realized there was a real gap between what companies needed and what consumers expected, and we believed we could bridge it. We started building Rebillia with the goal of giving any business, regardless of size, the ability to offer flexible, customer friendly subscription experiences. From day one, our focus was on practical tools that businesses could actually use: control over pricing, frequency, quantity, multi channel subscription management, bundles, rewards and more.
The journey was not easy. Creating a platform this versatile required deep technical work, resilience and endless learning. There were moments when the challenges felt overwhelming, but what kept us going was the response from our early customers. At the same time, community became a central part of our story. We built a workspace that evolved into a hub for events, charity initiatives and collaboration. I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has definitely not been smooth, and in many ways the challenges shaped Rebillia into what it is today. Building a subscription platform with the level of flexibility we envisioned required solving problems that even large, established companies struggled with. There were long periods of heavy technical development, constant iteration and moments where we had to rebuild parts of the product to make it stronger and more scalable.
One of our biggest challenges was earning trust in the early days. As a new startup competing in a space full of well funded players, we had to prove ourselves through our work, not our size. That meant delivering exceptional support, learning from every customer and being willing to adapt quickly when something didn’t work. Those experiences taught us how to be resilient and customer centric in everything we do.
We also faced typical startup hurdles: managing limited resources, balancing product development with customer needs, and navigating the natural ups and downs that come with growth. There were times when progress felt slow and times when we questioned whether we were moving in the right direction. But each obstacle forced us to learn, to innovate and to improve the platform in ways that ultimately made it far more powerful.
Today, the challenges we faced have become some of our biggest advantages. They pushed us to build a product that is flexible, reliable and truly aligned with the needs of both businesses and consumers. And they strengthened our team’s belief that persistence, transparency and a willingness to evolve are the keys to long term success.
