Today we’d like to introduce you to Shikeita Endsley.
Hi Shikeita, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Where should I Start! I moved to the city of Atlanta in 2015 to attend Paul Mitchell Cosometogy school !
I had just got promoted at my job ! First Apartment life was going great ! I felt like the world was my oyster!
One night my life changed forever hanging out with some new people at a party the next thing you know I was sexually assaulted by a guy i thought was a friend. After that day I changed I no longer felt that zeal about life to be honest I wanted it to end . No one knew what I was facing . I went into a slight depression I didn’t like the women I was becoming and after 2 years of simply trying to heal . Once I had a grip on life I went to state board to take my cosmetology test , only to find I had maxed out ! Now what ? I felt like life was dragging me !!! Then I met a guy . Felt like perfect timing ! He reminded me who I was he was a childhood friend so it felt safe he took care of me he was a great guy , I just knew he was the one and for 8 years I invested into this relationship (engaged after 4) thinking I was going to be a wife and establish a family . Instead He had changed his mind on our 7th year anniversary he expressed he no longer wanted to tie the knot like we planned .
I created an EXIT PLAN ! On the 8th year God gave me the tools to step out on my own. Once I got my own place I had to figure out who I was and grieve the man I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I didn’t know who I was anymore. I then remembered that little girl inside of me who was shy but shined bright ! I muted the world and I wrote my first song called REBIRTH and created Kenuu the artist . I started going to castings and booking roles ! I’m on my way to do more I realized Im the limit . I got here on my own !! Just me myself and GOD ! that’s my testimony !!!! Its never too late to achieve any vision with God on your side ! And is never to late to change the narrative.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
God has been opening doors !!!! I can’t even explain the opportunities that have been given I know it’s him !!!
The struggle maybe the solitude that is required for the transformation or next level . Its lonely . And you find yourself saying no alot , which doesn’t create many friends. However understanding that to lock in or tap in . its all about YOU and requires alot of alone time .

I’m known for my music and acting . I specialize in inspirational/gospel rap it’s how I express myself and I’ve been getting some great feedback ! I’m most proud of my versatility ! I was signed to a plus size modeling agency in the past so I’ve also done some modeling runway and print ,gearing up to do more ! What sets me apart from others is my fearless attitude ! Im here ! And I’m doing what feels good to my soul ! Theirs a time in your life when you say , this is for me, not letting age or time divine me and working with what I have .
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was shy , But I like to perform plays for my mom and grandma with my cousins . Threw performing or acting I felt like I could be someone else and not my usual shy self . I took chorus throughout middle school & advanced drama in high school it wasn’t till then I started coming out of my shell . I wanted to attend a performing arts school but my Dad thought Cosometogy school was more realistic , so I went with that . After graduationg high school I took some time off. I got signed to Diva Day International model Agency. My personality and confidence really started to shine threw as I worked in Tylers Perry films as an extra and hair shows like for sisters only sponsored by V103 and Outre
