Born as Latasha Transrina Kebe on March 10, 1982, in Panama City, Florida, Her childhood was not without hardship– she used laughter to help her cope with her struggles. Although she never sought fame, she ultimately chose a career that combined her passion for comedy and entertainment. Tasha grew up as a military kid, spending part of her childhood living in Germany and moving frequently due to her family’s service. Those early years overseas taught her adaptability, discipline, and resilience at a young age. Constantly adjusting to new environments, cultures, and people helped shape her bold personality and sharpened the instinctive, no-nonsense style she is known for today. Tasha has been open about facing trauma and difficult family dynamics, including periods of estrangement that she later worked to rebuild with her parents. These early experiences also shaped her sharp instincts, her blunt authenticity, and her determination to rise above adversity.
After spending her early years in Florida, she eventually relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, which became the foundation of her adult life and the city where she would build her media empire.
In 2016, Tasha K embarked on her YouTube journey, launching her channel, UnWinewithTashaK. Tasha K used her channel to discuss pop culture, entertain with her humorous content, and share engaging talks while sipping wine. Her unique take on the hottest celebrity news and gossip quickly gained popularity. She broke many entertainment news stories.
