Hi Jasmine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story is really about turning every plot twist into purpose. I’ve always been this mix of creative and analytical. Poetry raised my voice. Business intelligence and analytics sharpened my mind. When I started seeing how fast AI was taking over, I knew I didn’t want to sit on the sidelines. I wanted to build something in that world. That’s how SpeakCue started. And honestly, life didn’t make it easy. I got laid off right after I began building it. Then an uninsured driver totaled my car, so I had to rebuild while everything felt unstable. But I stayed focused. I trusted my ideas. I kept creating. Now I’m growing my company and stepping into a version of myself that feels aligned. My path hasn’t been perfect, but it’s mine, and I’m proud of how I’ve carried it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been smooth at all. I’ve had back to back moments that could’ve knocked me out. I got laid off while building SpeakCue, then an uninsured driver totaled my car right after. That forced me to rebuild everything at once while still keeping my focus on my goals. I’ve had to push through uncertainty, start over more than once, and stay disciplined when life felt chaotic. Those challenges didn’t stop me. They sharpened me. They made me more intentional, more resilient, and even more serious about creating something that matters.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about JX Holdings LLC?
JX Holdings LLC is the home for everything I build. Right now my main focus is SpeakCue, my AI powered teleprompter and response tool. I created it because I’m neurodivergent and I know what it feels like to freeze up even when you know exactly what you want to say. It happened to me in job interviews and even when performing my poetry. SpeakCue solves that. It can listen to a question and instantly generate a response right onto the teleprompter, or let you read your talking points and poems on screen without memorizing anything. It’s the first of its kind and it reflects both sides of me. The data and analytics background that makes me build smart, and the creative side that makes it feel natural. My brand is all about intention and making communication easier for people who usually feel overlooked.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was the quiet kid who noticed everything. I was curious, sensitive, and always in my head. I loved creating, writing, and trying to understand people. I wasn’t loud but my mind stayed busy. I liked patterns, stories, and anything that made me think deeper. Even back then I mixed logic with imagination. I’ve always been that kid who could feel the room and also analyze it at the same time.
