Life & Work with Kyng of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyng.

Hi Kyng, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve really been chasing this dream since I was seven years old. Back then, I didn’t have the vocabulary for “media personality” or “life coach” or “producer”—I just knew I wanted to be on the radio, talking to people, inspiring them, connecting with them. That little spark never left.

As I grew up, that childhood dream evolved into a full path. I learned every angle of the industry—radio, hosting, social media, marketing, speaking, producing. Each step opened a new lane. One gig led to another, one connection led to the next opportunity, and before I knew it, I wasn’t just in the industry… I was building in it.

Today, I’m a radio personality, media correspondent, life coach, author, and producer—someone who creates platforms, not just participates in them. Everything I do now is still fueled by that same energy I had at seven: the belief that your voice can change lives, shift culture, and make people feel seen.

My story is really just a testament to mindset and determination. I believed it was possible, and every chapter since then has been me proving that little kid right.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been both smooth and rocky at the same time. Smooth in the sense that once I finally tapped into my true calling, everything started aligning doors opened, opportunities flowed, and things began to feel natural. But getting to that point wasn’t easy.

My biggest struggle was figuring out what I was actually supposed to be doing. I had talent in a lot of areas, and sometimes that can be confusing. I had to separate what I wanted to do from what I was truly meant to do. For a long time, the results were inconsistent. One project would hit, the next would fall flat. It felt like trial and error over and over.

But once I locked in once I understood my purpose and operated in it everything shifted. The hits became consistent, the vision got clearer, and the road that used to feel uncertain started guiding me exactly where I needed to go.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a media personality, radio host, life coach, author, producer, and overall storyteller. Everything I do sits at the intersection of entertainment, empowerment, and real-life impact. I specialize in creating platforms whether it’s radio, live shows, reality TV concepts, or my coaching programs where people feel seen, challenged, and inspired.

I’m known for my voice, not just literally but in the way I speak truth, spark conversations, and bring raw, unfiltered energy to every space I enter. Whether I’m hosting an event, interviewing someone, or leading a life coaching session, I have a way of pulling out the deeper layers in people. That’s part of why my audience connects with me there’s authenticity, vulnerability, and a real perspective behind everything I put out.

What I’m most proud of is the impact. Seeing people DM me about how something I said helped them shift their mindset, seeing my events grow, seeing my ideas turn into actual shows and platforms that’s the part that fulfills me. I built all this from nothing but belief, consistency, and faith.

What sets me apart is my versatility and my heart. I’m not boxed into one lane I move through multiple industries with intention, and I show up the same way in all of them: honest, bold, spiritual, and deeply connected to purpose. A lot of people talk; I transform, I create, I build. And everything I do has the same mission at the core: to elevate voices, shift mindsets, and spark change.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
My biggest advice for finding a mentor or networking is simple: show up as the version of yourself that’s hungry, intentional, and ready for the next level. People can feel authenticity and purpose, and that’s what attracts the right connections.

For me, what has worked best is leading with value. I don’t approach people asking, “What can you do for me?” I show them what I bring to the table my work ethic, my creativity, my consistency. When people see you moving with purpose, they want to align with you.

Another thing that changed everything for me was learning how to be in the right rooms. Not the loudest rooms… the right ones. The rooms where conversations elevate you, challenge you, and expand your perspective. Half of networking is being willing to step into spaces that stretch you.

And mentors? They usually reveal themselves when you’re already doing the work. I didn’t “find” mentors by chasing them I earned their guidance by proving through my actions that I was serious about my mission.

So my advice is: stay consistent, stay visible, stay teachable. Be bold enough to introduce yourself, ask questions, show support, and build relationships without forcing them. When you operate in your purpose, the right people recognize it and they’re drawn in naturally.
