Check Out Mary Ann Henry’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mary Ann Henry.

Hi Mary Ann , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My art started as far back as I can remember. I started painting with oil paints and a pallet knife when I was 7 and had been given a set of oil paints from a local artist who had passed away. I’ve continued to paint, experimenting with different mediums and styles throughout my private collection and public art. I began teaching when asked by friends to instruct them on how to paint which led to opening my art gallery in 2008 called “LaBohem”. In 2009 I had my first art show at The Booth Museum in Cartersville GA. I’ve since shown at multiple locations and have a mobile paint and sip company named Cartersville Artist In You.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I always feel like whatever struggles I’ve had have helped lead me to my purpose.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve enjoyed experimenting with mediums to create emotionally felt pieces. Life is art and I believe in telling a story with each piece that I create.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I believe we are always learning!
