Today we’d like to introduce you to Black The Scientist.

Hi Black, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story as a musician and as an artist started by accident, as it took one college project for me to start experimenting with music. For me school has always came first, so I took some time to finish college before I really ventured within my musical sound and in my art, and that’s how Black The Scientist came to be.

It took a lot of experimentation and a lot of of patience, but the full vision of who I wanted to be as an artist came to light after the growth and development of who I became as a person also came to be!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not! I wish, but I also think the bumps in the road made me become the person I am today! I think the biggest obstacles that I dealt with is the confidence in my abilities as an artist, finding my sound, but also to believe in my sound and art, and patience, as it took a long time to finally solidify my sound and who I want to represent as an artist!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a musician and artist, most specifically I’m a singer, songwriter, and rapper. I love alternative hip-hop and R&B music, so my sound is more curated towards that.

I’m most proud of my sound, who I am and what I represent as an artist, and how far I’ve come from making music in my room to now performing on live stages! I think what sets me apart from other artists is not only do I work hard and the hard work pays off, but I also am never afraid to experiment my sound and who I am as a person! I love to express myself through unique sounds, beats, and emotions through lyrics.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Honestly, I’m a murder makeup and mystery girl! I also really love watching tea and drama podcast and channels discussing the latest social media tea! I would say it teaches you what not to do as a public figure lol but most of all, it helps me to enjoy the little things in life!
