Meet Chris Jeffreys “Hollywood Fizz” of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Jeffreys “Hollywood Fizz”.

Hi Chris, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Acting and creating have been a part of my life since childhood. I’m the oldest of sixteen siblings, and I grew up in what some would call tough circumstances. When the power would go out, my siblings, cousins, and I would pass the time playing improv games just to keep ourselves entertained. My aunt introduced me to comedy—she put me on to all the classics in Black comedy cinema. As I got older, I started carving out my own comedy journey. I’ve been heavily influenced by Dave Chappelle, Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Danny McBride, and Donald Glover. The moment I saw Chappelle Show, I knew I wanted to be an actor and creator.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Acting and creating is never an easy journey — I’ve been homeless, told ‘no’ more times than I can count, and pushed through every kind of setback. But we keep going. The grind doesn’t stop. A few speed bumps can’t slow down a giant like me. Through every perilous fight, you have to stay brave and stand tall.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Southeast-based actor, director, producer, and writer. Comedy is my specialty, but I’m versatile across genres. One of the things I’m most proud of is my cinematography—I taught myself how to shoot because I didn’t want to wait on anyone to help me bring my ideas to life. I wanted to build my own table.
What sets me apart is simple: I do it all. I act, I write, I shoot, and I produce. No excuses. Don’t wait—create.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
First and foremost God, then My family and friends. without them, I am nothing.
