Daily Inspiration: Meet Lil Raheezy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lil Raheezy.

Hi Lil Raheezy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Lil Raheezy. I actually started my career long before social media became what it is today. I began as an independent rapper on MySpace, back when that platform was the center of online music and networking. I built my name early by growing a huge MySpace following with over 50,000 friends, and that momentum followed me when Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter became popular. The audience I built back then stayed with me and helped create the foundation of the fan base I have today.

At the same time, I was also posting on YouTube. My first channel got deleted, but I started my current one in 2016 and kept building from scratch. Over the years I continued dropping music independently, and even though I stepped back from chasing the mainstream industry, I never stopped creating. Fast-forward to now, my music has earned more than 15 million total streams, including over 7 million streams on one song alone, and I have accumulated more than 50 million views on YouTube.

A big part of my growth came from adapting to new platforms. I started posting YouTube Shorts consistently, which helped push my channel to nearly 100,000 subscribers. Those new supporters, along with the ones who have followed me since the MySpace era, now follow me across all my social media platforms. One of my recent songs is also trending on Instagram with over 7 million streams, keeping my name active in the algorithm and in the culture.

Before all the social media success, I was known locally for grinding the traditional way, selling CDs in the streets of Tallahassee, Florida, promoting myself face-to-face, and building a real foundation. Once MySpace and the other social platforms came along, I shifted that same hustle online, and I have been growing ever since.

Overall, my journey has been about consistency, adapting to every new wave, and staying connected with the audience that has supported me since day one.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey has definitely not been smooth, and I’ve faced a lot of challenges along the way. I’ve been homeless multiple times, which meant having to start over repeatedly. Your personal life directly affects your career, whether it’s music, YouTube, or any entrepreneurial endeavor. Every time I faced setbacks in my personal life, it affected my ability to grow professionally.

I’ve also dealt with difficult relationships, making mistakes like getting involved with the wrong people at the wrong time, going to jail, living with the wrong people, and being kicked out multiple times. Every negative experience pushed me back and forced me to rebuild.

But looking at where I am now, in 2025 going into 2026, all of those struggles have shaped me. I’m stronger, more focused, and my name is bigger than it’s ever been. I feel more accomplished, and I know that every setback was a step in building the person and the career I have today.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an artist and a YouTuber, but I’m primarily known as a rapper. I’ve been rapping since I was 12, and I started taking it seriously in high school around 14 or 15. Before YouTube became a big part of my career, I already had millions of streams, articles, and a strong fan base as an independent artist. My music helped me build my name and opened doors before I ever reached millions of views on video platforms.

I specialize in creating authentic music that connects with my audience, blending real-life experiences with my personal style. Over the years, I’ve expanded my skill set beyond music. I’m also a YouTuber with nearly 100,000 subscribers, over 50 million views, and songs trending on Instagram with millions of streams. My content is versatile, from music to YouTube Shorts to collaborations, and I focus on keeping my name relevant while building a brand across platforms.

I’m most proud of the co-signs I’ve received from some of my favorite artists, including Trina, The Game, Morray, and ChyTheGreatest. Having their recognition validates my work and shows that people I admire in the industry respect what I’ve built. I’m also proud of hitting milestones like 100,000 YouTube subscribers, millions of streams, and getting my music featured on platforms like WorldStarHipHop, The Source, and Hype Magazine.

What sets me apart is my originality, versatility, and work ethic. I didn’t come up through illegal activity or shortcuts. I built my career through consistent effort, marketing myself, and learning the business. I have skills outside of music too. I studied culinary arts at Job Corps, I’m an audio engineer, and I even have security officer certifications. Life experiences like these, plus my connection to my late relative Shawty Love from Atlanta, who taught me about the music industry, have shaped who I am as an artist and entrepreneur.

I’m versatile, independent, and creative. I can be a rapper, YouTuber, audio engineer, actor, or content creator, and I approach everything with the same focus and originality. I’ve built a career that allows me to wear multiple hats, and I take pride in being able to create and succeed in any field I put my mind to.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is elevating and growing in every area of my life. I love being able to do what I started as a hobby and turn it into a full-time career. Being able to live the life I want, pursuing my dreams and goals, and getting recognized in public by my audience is extremely fulfilling.

It also makes me happy to be able to get paid for my talent, skills, and hard work, and to use that success to help others, whether it’s homeless people, family members, or friends. Building my career independently, running my own business, and not working for anyone else gives me a sense of freedom and accomplishment.

Beyond that, I enjoy collaborating with creative people and beautiful women to make engaging content. Being successful on my own terms and seeing the impact of my work every day is what truly brings me joy.
