Today we’d like to introduce you to Latovia Myrick.
Hi Latovia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey started long before I ever launched a business. I grew up watching strong women work hard, make something out of nothing, and keep their families together no matter what. That foundation shaped everything I do today.
Becoming a mother pushed me to think bigger. I wanted a life where I could provide, build, and show my children what discipline, faith, and consistency can create. After earning my Associate Degree in Business Administration, I stepped into entrepreneurship with confidence and launched Angel Glam Collection — a beauty and lifestyle brand built on glam, empowerment, and faith.
During the early stages of my business, I created something special — the phrase “Tell A Hater To Pray.” It came to me during a time when I was rebuilding myself, dealing with setbacks, negativity, and personal challenges. The more I spoke it, the more it became a reminder that choosing prayer and peace is more powerful than reacting to anything meant to break you.
People connected with the message instantly, and it became the heart of my brand. To protect it and build something lasting, I took the steps to trademark it. Today, “Tell A Hater To Pray” is more than a slogan — it’s a movement, a mindset, and a signature part of my story.
Like many entrepreneurs, my path hasn’t been straight. I’ve faced storms, financial losses, career changes, and moments where I had to start over completely. But every challenge forced me to grow. Through those experiences I learned how to manage money better, build digital products, create multiple income streams, and turn my personal story into something that inspires others.
Along the way, I earned my CMAA certification, stepped into healthcare as a Patient Access Specialist, and grew my coaching platform, Pretty Profits Academy, where I teach women how to make money through Amazon, digital products, and smart business systems. My goal has always been to help other women walk in confidence, elevate their income, and believe that their dreams are possible.
Today, I’m proud of the woman I’ve become. I’m a mother, a certified medical professional, an entrepreneur, a brand owner, and a coach — and everything I do is rooted in faith, resilience, and helping other women shine. My story is still being written, but one thing I know for sure is this:
I’m building a life for my family that’s bigger than anything I came from — and this is only the beginning.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all — my journey has had plenty of bumps. I’ve dealt with financial setbacks, rebuilding my business, balancing motherhood with full-time work, and pushing through moments of doubt. Those experiences actually inspired my trademark, “Tell A Hater To Pray,” because I had to learn how to lean on faith instead of frustration.
Every obstacle taught me resilience and helped shape the businesswoman and creator I am today.
As you know, we’re big fans of Angel Glam Collection,. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is Angel Glam Collection, a beauty and lifestyle brand built on confidence, faith, and glam. I’m known for creating products and messages that empower women — especially my trademarked phrase, “Tell A Hater To Pray.” It represents resilience, femininity, and choosing peace while still standing in your power.
Angel Glam Collection specializes in beauty essentials, hair products, lifestyle items, and inspirational apparel that reflect glam, confidence, and a “boss-woman” attitude. Everything I create has intention behind it — whether it’s helping women feel beautiful, motivated, or spiritually grounded.
What sets my brand apart is the heart behind it. Angel Glam isn’t just products — it’s a mindset. It’s for the woman who has been through things, but still chooses to show up, look good, and stay focused on her purpose. I build everything with that woman in mind.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the fact that I built this from scratch, protected my slogan, and created something my children can one day inherit. My journey, my faith, and my story show up in every product, design, and message.
For readers, the biggest thing to know is this:
My brand is here to inspire, uplift, and empower. Whether it’s beauty, business coaching through Pretty Profits Academy, or motivational products — everything I offer is designed to help women look good, feel good, and believe in themselves.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My biggest advice is to start even when you don’t feel fully ready. You learn the most by doing, not by waiting for the perfect moment. Be consistent, stay focused, and trust the direction God is taking you.
I also wish I understood earlier how important it is to stay organized, build a plan, and take your business seriously from day one. Protect your ideas, treat your brand like a real business, and invest in your growth.
And most importantly — don’t give up when it gets hard. Every challenge teaches you something that you’ll need later. Keep pushing, keep praying, and keep working. Your future self will be grateful you didn’t quit.
