Rising Stars: Meet Cameron Rozier of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Rozier.

Hi Cameron, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story really started as a teenager in Southern Georgia, where I developed a big love for social media and all things content creation. I always had my sights set on moving to Atlanta, and social media ended up being the thing that pushed me in that direction. I built my first following through YouTube—those videos are long gone now, haha, and a live-streaming platform called YouNow. That’s where I realized how much I loved creating content and connecting with people online.

That passion led me to major in Public Relations in college. After graduating, I finally made the move to Atlanta like I’d always planned. Today, I work as the social media coordinator for one of the nation’s largest housing developers. And even though I’ve taken a long break from posting my own content, I still love creating, and I keep a close eye on social trends every single day—it’s just part of who I am at this point.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of my biggest challenges has been learning to trust my own instincts. I’ve always felt a pull toward the creative world, even when more traditional career paths seemed like the safer choice. For a long time, I bounced back and forth between what I truly wanted and what I thought I was supposed to pursue, and that back-and-forth created a lot of doubt.

That hurdle showed up in every area of my life—personally, professionally, and even in my own social media presence. Whether it was choosing a direction for my career, making big life decisions, or figuring out how I wanted to show up online, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is to trust my gut, follow my passion, and not let outside opinions steer me away from what feels right.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As briefly mentioned before, I currently work as the social media coordinator for one of the nation’s largest housing developers. In my role, I help our teams stay on top of trends, brainstorm fresh ideas, and create consistent, meaningful content across our properties. I’m really focused on strategy—making sure each community shows up online in a way that feels authentic, relatable, and true to who they are rather than relying on generic ads.

Some of my proudest moments are hearing that our work on social media has brought more attention, traffic, or engagement to our properties and events. It’s always rewarding to know that thoughtful content can drive real results.

What sets me apart is how much I value authenticity. I really believe that on social media, especially with Gen Z, honesty and personality matter. Your presence online is an extension of your brand, your property, or even yourself, and it should feel real. Helping our properties find and express that voice is something I genuinely love doing.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I’d just love to leave readers with this: be yourself and be authentic, no matter what space you’re in. Follow your path, trust your gut, and chase the dreams that actually excite you. If you love social media and want to be an influencer, post the content. Take the step, even if it feels scary. Don’t let outside opinions talk you out of something that feels right to you. Have fun with it, experiment, express yourself, and most importantly……BE YOU.
