Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanel Cox.
Hi Chanel , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, my name is Chanel Cox. I am the owner/operator of EOA Services. EOA Services is a management service organization. We provide administrative, operational, and regulatory support to healthcare practices, allowing them to focus on patient care. We specialize working with behavioral health professionals. We have been in business 10 years this years.
I started off working in a private practice. Once I noticed the impact that the front office staff (the nucleus of the office) has, I excelled. I wanted to do something that took the least amount of effort on my part. I thought, what is something that I have a GOD given talent? Practice Management! I notice the revenue increased for the office I was working in by 50-75% the first year. The policies that were implemented, the organization that was enforced was working at a rapid speed. I had other practitioners asking if I could help them open their private practice. I originally said, No. I just did not know how I could do this thing I had created on a bigger scale and virtually. Then, after a suggestion from a friend to just, JUMP! I jumped.
I started with one client and then we grew at a rapid speed. The ‘I’ grew to ‘WE’! It is amazing what you can accomplish with the right business relationships and partnerships.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have learned so much in this journey. I feel blessed to have come to a place where I no longer have to market my business. I am known in the industry. The knowledge I share with new practice owners help them to be efficient and successful. There is a process I implement that helps others.
The struggle in my business has come from taking on all clients and not reviewing if this is a good relationship. There is a saying, “All money is not good money!” This is the realest saying to me. If the work you are doing feels like work, then some of us have to go back to the drawing board. For me, work should feel enjoyable. Or close to it. There are hills and valleys, but there should be more hills than valleys.
The struggles come from outsiders, family, bad business relationships, financial expectations, and etc…
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Honestly, I answered all of those previously. What makes me stand out is that I am not a corporation. You will not get lost in a crowd of clients. I offer personal attention. The best compliment I have ever gotten was…” Chanel runs your business like it is her business.”
My slogan is ” Feel Better Today!” I still after 10 years, feel that once you call my office, you should feel better today. You should not feel like, “That was no help!” I try to find the public when they call the right therapist. I try to help the community when they call for things that we do not do, help.
I am going to just include a review that one of my client wrote about me and my company.

XXXXX Counseling & Coaching, LLC simply cannot function at its best without the critical work of our Practice and Billing Manager, Chanel Cox. Her role extends far beyond administrative support; she is the foundation of our financial accuracy, operational organization, and day-to-day efficiency. Chanel’s work ensures our systems run smoothly, our clients are supported, and our staff are empowered to focus on providing quality care. Any reduction or removal of her position would cause immediate and significant setbacks across multiple areas of the practice.
Chanel safeguards our revenue with precision, maintains the structure of our operations, and serves as the first point of professional contact for many clients and providers. She consistently prevents compliance issues before they arise and creates efficiencies that save the practice time, money, and unnecessary stress.
The cost of not having Chanel as our Practice and Billing Manager is substantial:
Invoices go out late or inaccurately
Payments get lost or delayed
Client questions and concerns pile up
Staff and leadership become overwhelmed with administrative burdens
Errors multiply, along with the financial and operational costs required to correct them
Simply put, Chanel’s absence would immediately create operational gaps that undermine revenue, decrease efficiency, and diminish the professionalism our clients expect from us.
Chanel and her company is indispensable to the success, stability, and integrity of XXXXX Counseling & Coaching, LLC.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
