Daily Inspiration: Meet Kenneth Menefield

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenneth Menefield.

Hi Kenneth , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was always into gaming and from a very young age when I received my first console it was like it was meant for me to game. I always wanted to talk gaming and talk to those that had a hand in gaming or were just like minded in their love for gaming. Whether it be art, musically, graphically, storytelling wise, etc. I just decided to start my own show to share my thoughts and connect with those that are in fields that I am also interested in.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not completely smooth, but it has been worth it. Getting people to respond to messages. Building it from the ground up alone. Reaching out to individuals. Constantly posting to try and make the algorithm. Just to name a few

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I game and stream games and share my thoughts and opinions online. I also reach out to likeminded creatives and speak with them on my podcast.

I’m known for being funny and working to help get my voice, and those likeminded voices, out there and bring more real perspective from those actively living and engrained in the community.

I’m most proud of starting and having created something tangible that you can actively see and use.

I believe me being genuine and unbiased and not being afraid to not only be myself but have real conversations with real individuals and ask honest questions sets me apart from others

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love the culture. Atlanta is a beautiful city full of life and all walks of life. Beautiful atmosphere and so much to do and even more to discover. The history and the people and things that have come from Atlanta, especially those that are homegrown just has a different feel to it.

I would say the traffic is awful. The weather is bipolar and just how the city gets a bad rap from people that are not from here and don’t really know anything about it
