Today we’d like to introduce you to Casey Del Valle.
Hi Casey , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Casey, Brooklyn-born, purpose-driven, and built by perseverance.
I started with nothing but belief, a deep love for culture, and a willingness to show up when no one was watching. Before the titles, before the rooms filled up, there were years of unpaid work, late nights, self-funded events, and learning everything the hard way. I wasn’t handed a blueprint… I built one by trial, error, and consistency. I poured into artists, creatives, and community long before recognition followed, trusting that impact would eventually speak louder than obstacles.
I learned how to stretch a dollar, how to turn relationships into partnerships rooted in respect, and how to keep going even when it felt heavy. There were moments of doubt, moments of exhaustion, and moments where quitting would’ve been easier but purpose doesn’t let you quit. Every setback sharpened my vision. Every “no” refined my strategy. Every win reminded me why I started.
Today, I stand as a creative entrepreneur, consultant, and cultural curator leading platforms that celebrate, develop, and protect creatives while staying grounded in community. I didn’t arrive here overnight. I arrived here through resilience, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to showing up authentically.
My story is proof that when intention meets perseverance, the journey transforms into legacy.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. The journey has been filled with real struggles financial strain, moments of burnout, being overlooked, and carrying the weight of responsibility when there was no safety net. A lot of times, I was the funding, the team, the planner, and the problem solver all at once. I’ve had to learn through mistakes, navigate disappointments, and keep moving even when the outcome wasn’t guaranteed.
But those struggles shaped me. They taught me discipline, resilience, and discernment. Every challenge forced me to get clearer about my purpose and stronger in my execution. The road wasn’t easy, but it was necessary because it built the foundation, the vision, and the leadership I walk in today.
As you know, we’re big fans of Empire Global Consultants LLC . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is built at the intersection of culture, strategy, and community. Through Empire Global Consultants and The Come Up Experience, I specialize in developing creatives not just for visibility, but for longevity. What we do goes beyond events or promotion. We help artists, brands, and creatives build structure, tell their stories with intention, and position themselves to win in real time and long term.
We’re known for creating platforms that feel purposeful. The Come Up Experience, often referred to as the “Brooklyn Grammys,” was created to acknowledge talent that’s doing the work but often goes unseen. It’s a space where creatives are celebrated, educated, and connected, where community and credibility meet. On the consulting side, we provide artist development, brand strategy, sponsorship alignment, rollout planning, and experiential marketing rooted in real relationships, not trends.
What sets us apart is integrity and execution. We don’t sell dreams we build systems. We are hands-on, culturally fluent, and deeply invested in the people we work with. Our work is relationship-driven, not transactional, and we prioritize impact over optics. We understand the culture because we come from it, and that allows us to move with authenticity and trust.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that our work has remained consistent and community-centered. We’ve grown without compromising values, and we’ve created opportunities that didn’t previously exist especially for independent artists and creatives. Our brand stands for intention, accountability, and elevation.
What I want readers to know is that this is more than a business.. it’s a mission. Everything we offer is designed to help creatives feel seen, supported, and equipped. We’re here to build legacy, create access, and make sure the culture is honored properly by the people who truly live it.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The quality that’s been most important to my success is thick skin.
I’ve learned how to take rejection without letting it redefine me, how to hear “no” without losing confidence, and how to keep moving even when support is inconsistent or expectations aren’t met. Thick skin doesn’t mean being hardened.. it means being grounded. It’s the ability to stay focused, protect your vision, and not internalize every obstacle or opinion along the way.
This journey requires resilience, emotional discipline, and the courage to keep showing up when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. Thick skin allowed me to learn instead of retreat, adapt instead of break, and grow without becoming bitter. It’s what’s helped me lead with clarity, move with intention, and stay committed to the bigger picture no matter the pressure.
