Hi JayR , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Meet Rashiq — Songwriter, recording artist, producer & motivational speaker.
Founder of Harhum Music LLC. From Yonkers, NY inspired by his father Stone Rivers & Michael Jackson. Rashiq grew up seeing his father create music in the house (producing & writing). Rashiq picked up on that at a young age & began writing poetry in the 2nd grade.
From performing on stages at the end of his summer camps before being a teenager, to being the entertainer he is now — an undeniable thought!
Rashiq became a viral sensation at the end of 2024 on social media for creating daily motivational videos. In these videos, Rashiq caters to the audience’s emotions where he connects with them by calling them “Twin”. These videos have allowed the twin community to expand massively!
His music & daily messages now correlate with one another which connects the listener more to Rashiq journey & story.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Obstacles are put in front of us all the time. Nothing really comes easy & I feel that’s the best part about a challenge. To overcome it. You have to go through — to get through.

I’m a singer, songwriter & producer. I specialize in mastering my craft. My craft is creating. I love to create sounds, harmonies & vibrations that connect with your heart.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If you’re willing to learn, why limit the amount of knowledge you can intake? Networking is key. Building bonds & relationships, you never know who you may meet down the line. Be open to new things that make sense to you.
