Today we’d like to introduce you to Renee Price.
Hi Renee, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Partyology was born from a simple idea: celebrations matter, especially in communities where joy is often overlooked or undervalued. What started as a small passion project offering children’s parties and event support has grown into a full-scale event planning and experiential brand serving families, organizations, and communities across Alabama.
In the early days, I was doing everything myself—planning, coordinating vendors, managing logistics, and showing up on-site to make sure every event felt special. Over time, I realized Partyology wasn’t just about parties; it was about creating moments of connection, relief, and celebration for people navigating busy lives, limited resources, or major milestones.
As the business grew, so did the scope of our work. Partyology now provides event planning, rentals, mascots, kids’ entertainment, and large-scale community event support, including corporate and government-funded initiatives. We’ve supported everything from intimate birthday celebrations to major community events focused on youth engagement, safety, and family connection.
The journey hasn’t been without challenges. Like many small business owners, I’ve had to learn how to scale, build systems, and step into leadership while staying true to the heart of the brand. Each challenge sharpened the vision: Partyology is not just about fun—it’s about professionalism, impact, and showing up with excellence.
Today, Partyology stands as a trusted partner for families, organizations, and cities looking to create meaningful, well-executed events. I’m proud of how far we’ve come and excited about what’s ahead as we continue to grow, collaborate, and bring joy to the communities we serve.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has definitely not been a smooth road, and like many entrepreneurs, one of the biggest challenges has been learning how to grow without losing the heart of the business.
In the early stages, I wore every hat, planner, coordinator, marketer, administrator, and on-site support. While that level of involvement helped build trust with clients, it also made scaling difficult. Learning when and how to delegate, build systems, and trust a team was a major growth curve.
Another challenge has been navigating growth in spaces where expectations don’t always match budgets. Helping clients understand how to create high-impact experiences while working within realistic financial constraints required clear communication, creativity, and confidence in my expertise.
As the business expanded into larger community and corporate events, operational complexity increased, timelines, vendors, staffing, and compliance all had to align. Building structure, processes, and partnerships that support consistency while still allowing creativity took intentional effort and continuous refinement.
Lastly, balancing entrepreneurship with personal growth and leadership development has been an ongoing challenge. The business has evolved alongside me, and learning to lead with clarity, boundaries, and purpose has been just as important as growing revenue.
Each obstacle strengthened the foundation of Partyology, shaping it into a brand that is not only creative and fun, but professional, reliable, and built for long-term impact.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

Partyology is known for being reliable, professional, and deeply connected to the communities we serve. Clients trust us not only because we bring fun and creativity, but because we show up prepared, organized, and committed to excellence.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of the impact Partyology has made beyond traditional celebrations. We’ve supported events that promote safety, joy, education, and togetherness, especially for families and children who deserve spaces to feel celebrated and seen.
What I want readers to know is that Partyology is more than a party company. It’s a brand built on intention, leadership, and community impact. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on creating experiences that leave lasting memories while operating with professionalism, integrity, and heart.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that often surprises people is that while Partyology is known for fun, celebration, and creativity, I’m extremely structured and process-driven behind the scenes. I’m naturally analytical and intentional, and a lot of thought goes into planning, systems, and execution long before an event ever feels “effortless” to guests.
Another surprise is that community impact has always been at the core of my work. Even when Partyology was small, I was intentional about using the business to support families, youth, and community-centered initiatives, not just private celebrations. That purpose has guided many of the opportunities and partnerships that followed.
People often see the finished event, but they don’t always see the planning, leadership, and discipline that make those moments possible. That balance between creativity and structure is something I’m proud of and something that defines both me and the brand.
