Today we’d like to introduce you to Sagar Kakadia.
Hi Sagar, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2018. After dental school, I spent seven years practicing throughout Georgia, working in Macon, Sylvania, and the Atlanta area. These experiences allowed me to care for diverse patient populations, strengthen my clinical skills, and develop a patient-centered approach to dentistry. In 2025, I settled in Smyrna, Georgia, where I opened my own dental practice with my wife. Together, we are excited to build a welcoming practice and serve the community for years to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not always been a smooth road. Like most journeys, mine included normal ups and downs rather than a perfectly straight path. There were moments that required adjustment, plans that needed refining, and lessons learned along the way. Each experience helped me become more adaptable, thoughtful, and patient. Those moments shaped how I practice today and gave me a greater appreciation for the process. Looking back, even the smaller challenges played an important role in my personal and professional growth.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Divine Dental of Smyrna?
Divine Dental of Smyrna is a modern, patient-focused dental practice proudly serving the Smyrna community. Our office may be small—with a dedicated team of five—but what we lack in size, we more than make up for in expertise, technology, and personalized care. We offer the full scope of services you’d expect from a modern dental clinic, including preventive care, restorative dentistry, cosmetic treatments, and advanced dental procedures. From routine cleanings to complex treatment planning, our goal is to provide high-quality dentistry in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
What truly sets Divine Dental of Smyrna apart is our close-knit team and family-driven approach. Our office manager is my wife—which means the practice runs efficiently, communication is clear, and yes… I’m always on my best behavior. Jokes aside, that family foundation translates into genuine care for our patients and a team culture built on trust, consistency, and accountability.
Brand-wise, we are most proud of the relationships we’ve built with our patients and the reputation we’ve earned for honesty, reliability, and compassionate care. We want readers to know that at Divine Dental of Smyrna, patients aren’t just appointments on a schedule—they’re part of a community we’re proud to serve, one smile at a time.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that relationships matter just as much as clinical skill. Dentistry isn’t only about procedures—it’s about trust, communication, and making people feel comfortable in a setting that can be stressful for many. Building a strong team, listening to patients, and creating a culture where people feel genuinely cared for has been just as critical as staying current with modern techniques and technology. When patients feel heard and respected, the dentistry naturally follows. I’ve also learned that consistency, showing up every day with integrity, patience, and a commitment to improvement makes a bigger impact over time than any single breakthrough moment.
