Exploring Life & Business with Darius Gary of Intellectual Designers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Darius Gary.

Hi Darius, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
During Covid I had the idea of starting a clothing brand due to the fact that I loved fashion. However I just never knew where to start. So I began to do my research to launch my brand at the end of 2022. Having a good support system throughout this process and keeping my faith in God is what got me to where I’m at today.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely been a challenge but got easier along the way. One of my biggest struggle was balancing work life and finding the time to dedicate to the business. While also struggling with social anxiety due to the fact I’m naturally an introvert.

As you know, we’re big fans of Intellectual Designers. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Intellectual designers ( ID Apparel ) is a streetwear clothing brand. It’s known for its good quality and designs that relates to the current fashion world. Our brand is different from others because yes it has similarities to the trends in today’s fashion. However the design are more personal and are subjectively created within the community, while also creating networking and business opportunities for other upcoming brands/models.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Learning that it’s okay to outgrow certain environments and habits that no longer serve you any good to the purpose or goals you’re trying to achieve. Sometimes we are our own worst critic and that we have to be okay with change while being uncomfortable.
