Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiana Pink.
Hi Tiana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
When I was a little girl I had HUGE DREAMS ! To be a movie star and a Disney Star! I wanted that more than anything on earth and for years I wished, prayed, searched, for castings or a miracle opportunity that never came. My first cousin and I are so close in age that we became sister from the beginning. My big sister lived in ATL with auntie , auntie lived fast which caused a lot of absence, which resulted in my sister being raised with me half her whole life. I can remember her coming back and forth from ATL to Athens For 11 years straight bringing me the newest music annd fashion trends! She gave me the ATL sauce EARLY in the game. She was my first Barbie Doll role model/coolest person ever! We learned EVERY DANCE from Pop, lock & Drop it , Walk it out to ,lean w it rock w it, Heel toe, you name it , we knew it ! Ciara was our ATL princess we followed everything she did and copied every dance move. We studied Chris brown too! 106 & Park was our Life!!! We began freestying and writing raps and songs on the desktop computer at the house. And we would perform for our guests that came over. We started stepping in elementary school, and continued in Middle School. We were becoming stars before we knew it. God is amazing because I was blessed with the opportunity to record for the first time at 13 years old. My bff was the youngest of 5 and her big sisters were Rappers in a Girls Group named The Bubble Gum Girls Pebbles & BAM BAM ! Once they saw me and my bff had potential they got us to write and record to Omarions “I get it in” instrumental . We also did The New Boys “You’re a Jerk” . It was amazing , I brought my big sisters to record to! I didn’t know it then but I got so much POWER from being ushered into the music world with Black Women. The group don’t get anywhere because we couldn’t get along as tween teeny boppers it was doomed from the beginning lol but it was great. I didn’t record again until I was 18 years old. I became Queen.Wavey . My music was free spirited, full of bars, hippie party vibes. I was just floating growing up figuring out life’s ups and downs , I went to GA state in 2016 and 2017, I had my first born son (Love of my life) in 2019 Isaiah. Isaiah’s father is my producer and a Connections Academy Alumni. He booked me a meeting with record label A&E in 2020 . They encouraged me to mature my brand more and take a more industry approach. So that’s what I did. That very day I changed my name from Queen.Wavey to Tiana Pink & went full blown industry girl and I never looked back. That’s the basis of my first single “WET” prod by Music MasterMinds which has 50k + views on YT. I got a lot of Backlash for it but i believe if you want something you have to go for it and don’t play small! I pushed that record for a 3 years! I had my second baby boy in 2023 Kyro (Boss Baby) His father is also a rapper amongst many other things & our connection through music is what brought our son into the world. He is a musical baby lol I was born to do music and I always will find purpose in it. I’ve helped people started there SoundCloud’s back in the day, I’ve made cover art and built content for plenty of artists. I love supporting new artists and dreams! I’ve inspired a lot of beautiful girls to go for their dreams and don’t listen to the nay sayers. My biggest mission in life is to help little girls from the hood like me to fulfill they’re dreams. I will provide opportunities for them in the future , give back to my hood and my city in a big way. I just dropped a new single called “THESE HOES” and it’s an empowerment song about being individually you! No one can do what you’re sent here to do on earth and I made a song about it. It’s giving Confidence, Boss energy, and Spiritual Baddie! God has prepared my path for me , I’m just walking it out. Thank you
