Today we’d like to introduce you to Azonti Shakyeè.
Hi Azonti, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I began taking deeper control of my physical, mental, and spiritual health after experiencing profound grief, the loss of my grandfather to cancer. His passing was especially shocking, as he was someone I considered the healthiest person in my family. I was present as he took his final breath, and at the time, I didn’t fully understand death, nor the spiritual awareness and ancestral abilities that would later reveal themselves to me.
During this period, I was launching my first business in the beauty industry while remaining deeply connected to sacred knowledge, including astrology, psychic experiences, and spirit recognition—wisdom that had been passed down through generations. In 2018, I relocated to Atlanta, a move that allowed me to reconnect with myself and gain clarity around parts of my identity I hadn’t fully understood yet.
That clarity deepened during the global crisis of 2020, a pivotal moment not only for me, but for humanity as a whole. I found myself leaning further into my natural inclination toward humanitarianism, which led me to create Mermaid Healing Seas, LLC. Through this work, I offered personal and spiritual development coaching as well as psychic mediumship, eventually building a global clientele of more than 500 individuals across the United States, Ireland, Australia, the United Kingdom, and parts of Africa.
In 2025, I lost my father to a heart attack. He was also someone I closely experienced suffer from mental health issues which made my purpose even more necessary for other’s who are still fortunate enough to save themselves. My journey expanded into natural foraging—learning to locate medicine in nature during my hiking trips. I had a deep interest in not just assisting with physical development but the cognitive function that pulls it all together. This practice inspired me to cultivate intentional products such as herbal supplements, infused oils, crystals, incense, and more.
Today, I am deeply grateful to have developed a level of trust within the collective that allows me to guide others into spaces of self-elevation, healing, and divine alignment with their true path and purpose.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
A lot of my experience, I feel, was and is an initiation. Each time I am called to step into the next phase of my life, I experience a great deal of a sacrifice. Although, I feel like sacrificing the old for the new is beneficial, it still carries the amount of pain most aren’t always able to see themselves through. Hence, why I am more that happy to be that line of connectivity for others. I was working at a spiritual shop part time when a family member broke the news that my father unexpectedly transitioned early that morning. A lot of the healing I experience was in isolation with the exception with a good friend of mine who understood what his transition meant for me. I feared for a year that I no longer knew how to protect and care for myself, defend myself. Imagine losing yourself in the midst of speaking the prophecy other those to find themselves? Challenging but we are here to tell the story which means that it allowed me to ascend in the most beautiful way and I am full because of it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a multidimensional holistic practitioner, psychic medium, and spiritual advisor walking the path of divine service. Rooted in ancestral wisdom and guided by spirit, I hold the titles of prophetess, hoodoo practitioner, herbalist and certified end of life midwife. My work is deeply intuitive and sacred, bridging the realms of the living and the unseen.
I also walk with the gift of prophecy, receiving visions and insight to help others align with destiny and truth. This means that I won’t lead you to believe anything that is not there and I use my voice to expose shadows which directs you to your LIGHT. What sets me apart is my delivery. When I speak, I speak with conviction, confidence, and passion that is meant to not just emit change and action but consideration and love for yourself.
I am most proud of those who see the value in me. Like most, I struggle with speaking up for myself and typically, when you struggle with your voice, you struggle with expression which assist you with your own identity. And so for that, finding the light in me just encourages me to spread the light to those who are still hoping to find their own.
