Life & Work with Nkiru Anyagaligbo of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nkiru Anyagaligbo.

Hi Nkiru, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
PrimePath Consulting was born out of a gap I kept seeing firsthand. After nearly a decade working across pharma, biotech, and digital strategy—spanning consulting, agency, and in-house roles—I noticed that many organizations had access to data, but not clarity. Insights were siloed, strategy was reactive, and leaders often struggled to translate information into confident decisions.

My background as a PharmD and MBA, combined with deep experience in omnichannel marketing, analytics, and digital transformation, positioned me at the intersection of science, strategy, and technology. Over time, I found myself informally advising founders, brand teams, and executives on how to think more strategically about growth, competition, and innovation. PrimePath emerged as a way to formalize that work and scale impact.

Today, PrimePath partners with companies to deliver bespoke strategy, competitive intelligence, and data-driven decision support—helping teams move from noise to narrative and from insight to action. At its core, PrimePath is about clarity: building smart, tailored paths forward so organizations can grow with confidence in an increasingly complex landscape.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Building PrimePath while working full-time in a demanding industry has been one of the hardest things I’ve done. There were seasons of exhaustion, self-doubt, and constantly questioning whether I was doing “enough” in either space.

As a woman founder, I also had to work through the pressure to over-prepare, over-deliver, and prove myself—especially when introducing ideas that challenged the status quo. There were moments when my confidence was tested, not because the work wasn’t strong, but because I was learning to trust my own voice and expertise.

Another challenge was learning to slow down and focus. Early on, it was tempting to say yes to everything. Over time, I realized that protecting my energy and being selective wasn’t a weakness—it was necessary for growth.

Those challenges shaped PrimePath in meaningful ways. They taught me resilience, clarity, and the importance of building something that reflects not just ambition, but balance, intention, and purpose.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At a high level, my work is focused on helping healthcare organizations solve complex problems in clear, practical ways. I’m a trained pharmacist with an MBA, and my career has spanned pharma, biotech, consulting, and digital strategy. I tend to work at the intersection of clinical knowledge, data, and business, helping teams turn insight into action.

I’m especially proud of founding Rxcellence, a nonprofit focused on professional development and mentorship for minority and underrepresented graduates entering the workforce. It started as a way to support PharmDs pursuing nontraditional career paths and has grown into a broader platform that helps people build confidence, skills, and access to opportunity. Giving back through Rxcellence is a core part of who I am and why I do this work.

What sets me apart is that I balance strategic thinking with purpose. I care about strong outcomes, but I also care deeply about people and impact. That perspective shapes how I lead, how I collaborate, and the work I choose to take on.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I don’t read as much as I’d like, but one resource that’s been really grounding for me is The Catholic Bible in a Year podcast. It’s been less about productivity and more about perspective—helping me slow down, reflect, and stay rooted in faith, especially during busy or uncertain seasons. It’s something I return to for clarity and balance, both in life and work.
