Today we’d like to introduce you to L Kelley.
Hi L , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My dream started with a conversation between my two best friends, Shaun and Khaliq, and me. I told them that one day my record label would be called On Live Entertainment. I was only 15 years old at the time. I’ve gotten to where I am today by staying ambitious and driven values my mother instilled in me from the very beginning.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
it hasn’t been a smooth journey no journey ever is. I’ve faced obstacles most people never see. I’ve been on my own since I was 14 years old, when my mother passed away. But even in her absence, she had already prepared me for the world ahead. I helped raise my two younger brothers and became a father to three children at an early age. Those responsibilities fueled my hunger to achieve greatness, so my children would never have to endure the same struggles I did
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
On Live Entertainment specializes in culture, music, and unforgettable experiences through powerful collaborations. I see myself as the Clarence Avant of my generation connecting people, opportunities, and resources. What sets me apart is that I truly care about the brands and artists I work with. Coming from a small town in Mississippi to achieving great heights in Atlanta and across the South shaped my perspective. I’m a one stop shop f I can’t do it myself, I’ll plug you into the right socket to get it done.”
Who else deserves credit in your story?
my wife, my children, my brothers, my family, my friends, and my business partners everyone who believed in me and cheered for me along the way. There are too many to name, but the ones who stood by me from the very beginning know who they are, and I’m forever grateful.”
