Hi Kierrica Davis, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I came to Atlanta chasing a dream and believing in my purpose. What I didn’t expect was how much I would lose along the way heartbreak, sleep, stability, and love. I experienced homelessness, endless stress, silent tears, and the pain of losing someone I loved while having nowhere to call home. I started last year engaged and ended it single, and as the new year arrived, I lost my cousin the very same day, a loss that changed me forever. Despite everything falling apart, I didn’t quit.
Now I’m in a rebuilding season. I restarted my page, starting over with intention and honesty. I’m still struggling in my modeling career, but I haven’t let go of the vision. I am a model, a creator, and a storyteller. I enjoy modeling, speaking my truth, editing, and taking my own photos building my career with my own hands. I came to Atlanta for a reason, and I’m ready to fully step into modeling, show my creativity, and hopefully connect with someone who believes in me and can help take my career further. This journey isn’t just about fashion it’s about resilience, growth, and becoming who I was always meant to be.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Modeling is what keeps me going. Creating my own looks, changing and designing my own backgrounds, and bringing different ideas to life through my photos allows me to express who I am creatively. My journey hasn’t been easy I’ve been in Atlanta for a year now, and the process of pursuing modeling has come with challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt.
Even so, I continue to push forward. Each experience has taught me resilience, patience, and growth. Staying committed to my craft, learning as I go, and believing in my vision motivates me to keep creating and evolving. My journey is still unfolding, and that determination is what drives me to keep moving forward in modeling.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned on my modeling journey is the importance of being prepared mentally, emotionally, and creatively especially when you are following your dreams with little to no support. I’ve been modeling independently for about a year now, and during that time I’ve learned that passion alone isn’t enough. You have to be ready for uncertainty, rejection, and unexpected challenges.
This journey has taught me to rely on myself, stay disciplined, and continue showing up even when encouragement is limited. Being prepared means believing in your vision before anyone else does, staying consistent with your work, and being ready to adapt to whatever comes your way. Modeling has shown me that resilience and self-belief are just as important as talent, and that lesson has shaped both my growth and my determination to keep going.
