Today we’d like to introduce you to Daye England.
Hi Daye, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
How I Started: I have an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State Perimeter (back when it was just Georgia Perimeter.) I was living overseas in Italy during Covid, working at a school. I wasn’t very in love with the job but I enjoyed teaching. When I moved back stateside, we were in California where I worked virtually for a palliative and hospice home care company that dispatched emergency physicians to see elders monthly. After I was laid off from that position I got into Business Development & Virtual Assisting.
Where I am Today: I support non-profits, small businesses, entrepreneurs and creators maintaining and growing the reach of their brands. I currently have 6 clients (2 of which are high-profile media personalities in sports and music.) I provide social media, administrative, scheduling, business strategy, outreach, grant research and grant writing services. My impact has saved non-profits over $3800, saved my clients over 230 hours, aided 4 non-profits focused on youth across 4 states, as well as over 14 small businesses, and 10 entrepreneurs. I’ve transformed marketing, grown brands, and scaled operations—and this is just the beginning!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely NOT been a smooth road! The major struggle has been my lay off two years ago pushing me to find my purpose in helping businesses improve efficiency. I spent a long time trying to find another job that could fit my experience, needs and lifestyle, but it did not find me, so I had to make my own lane. I’m fully virtual with two children at home, so my energy and my time are super important. Mostly, keeping faith that God has huge plans for my life and everything happens for a reason.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a solo-preneur known for simplifying operations and finding resources. Brand-wise, I’m most proud of being able to manifest the visions of others.

My impact has saved non-profits over $3800, saved my clients over 230 hours of administrative time, aided 4 non-profits (focused on women and youth) across 3 states, as well as over 14 small businesses, and 10 entrepreneurs. I am secretary on the board for a non-profit and support two other non-profits that cater to youth in Atlanta (The Scream Foundation) and Houston, TX (Ace Mentor.) I also support two female entrepreneurs, a sports podcaster in New York and the legendary DJ Scream of Hoodrich Ent. and the Big Facts Network.
I want readers to know I’m open for more clients, and my goal is to help moms, creators, small business owners and non-profits become the big organizations they aspire to be.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t like to call it luck, I can only give credit to God. He’s always put me at the right places and times, put me in the right rooms and those who benefit from all I have to offer continue to sing my praises and mention my name in rooms I have not yet made it in. It was bad luck to lose my job two years ago, but by the grace of God I’ve been able to walk in my purpose and help provide for my family while doing it.
