Today we’d like to introduce you to Txne World.
Txne, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started TxneWorld Festival as a way to create opportunities that I didn’t always see available for emerging artists and creatives around me, locally and globally.
Growing up in Prichard Alabama and building in Mobile, I noticed how much talent and opportunities existed, yet how limited the platforms were for artists to truly be seen, supported, and elevated beyond their immediate circles.
What began as a creative outlet and community-driven idea gradually evolved into something bigger. A brand, a platform, and eventually a festival. Through TxneWorld Fest, I’ve been intentional about building experiences that bridge where artists are now to their next level, connecting them with new listeners, collaborators, and opportunities across genres and demographics.
Over time, the work expanded beyond just events into curation, production, and creative direction, allowing TxneWorld to function as both a cultural hub and a growth platform. Today, my focus is on continuing to develop scalable, professional experiences rooted in Mobile, while intentionally expanding the reach globally; staying grounded in authenticity, community, and forward momentum.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Building something from the ground up comes with its share of challenges, especially when you’re creating a platform that didn’t previously exist in your market. One of the biggest struggles has been navigating limited resources while still maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.
There were also moments where visibility and support didn’t come as quickly as expected, which requires a lot of patience, consistency, and self-belief. Learning how to balance creative vision with logistics, funding, and execution was a process in itself. Those challenges ultimately strengthened the foundation of TxneWorld, sharpened my leadership, and reinforced the importance of staying adaptable and committed to the long-term vision.
Each obstacle serves as a learning experience that helps shape the direction and growth of what TxneWorld is today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a music artist, creative director, and the founder of TxneWorld. Alongside my own work as an artist, I’ve built TxneWorld as a platform that creates real opportunities for other artists to grow, connect with new audiences, and operate within professional, elevated spaces.
I specialize in curation, creative direction, and artist development through experience-based platforms. TxneWorld Festival is a direct extension of my perspective as an artist. Understanding firsthand what artists need, what’s often missing, and how important visibility, presentation, and community are to long-term growth.
What I’m most proud of is building a festival and brand rooted in Mobile, Alabama while actively expanding its reach. As a musician running my own festival, I’ve been able to merge creative vision with execution, creating a platform that benefits the culture as a whole rather than just myself.
What sets me apart is that I move fluidly between roles. Artist, curator, and organizer; which allows me to build experiences that feel authentic, artist-first and scaleable. I’m not just creating opportunities, I’m building the type of platform I would want to be part of as an artist.
How do you think about luck?
I believe consistency, intention, and execution matters more than luck. I focus on creating my own opportunities and staying ready when timing aligns, rather than relying on chance.
