Today we’d like to introduce you to David Mosley.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial itch, and I turned it into No Cappin’, my mobile hat store. What started as a small hustle grew into a full on van setup what I call the ‘Cap Mobile’ decked out with custom graphics, LED lights, and speakers. I hit streets, events, and festivals, bringing hats straight to the people instead of waiting for them to come to me. Four years in, it’s all about creativity, mobility, and connecting with my community plus a little flair, because why sell hats any other way?
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been smooth, but every challenge sharpened the business. Early on, figuring out the logistics of running a fully mobile store was a learning curve, but once I cracked that, everything started to flow.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about No cappin’ your mobile hat store?
No Cappin’ is a mobile hat brand built around style, culture, and experience. We bring curated headwear directly to the community through our custom Cap Mobile. Partnering with Hitman Holla from MTV’s Wild ’N Out helped elevate the brand’s visibility, but what truly sets us apart is the creativity, energy, and connection behind the movement. I’m most proud of turning a simple concept into a recognizable brand people remember.”
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Adaptability. The ability to adjust, stay focused, and keep moving forward has been key to building and growing the brand. After all, One of my favorite quotes that I live by, ” situations change by the day”! Keep going
