We’re looking forward to introducing you to Tiahna M. Rose. Check out our conversation below.
Tiahna, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Lately, what’s been bringing me the most joy outside of work is slowing down and being present with my family. Simple moments like early mornings before the house wakes up, quiet walks, or just sitting with my kids without rushing to the next thing have been really grounding for me. I’ve learned that joy doesn’t always come from doing more — it often comes from creating space, routines, and a sense of calm in everyday life. That balance has helped me show up better in every area of my life.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tiahna Manderson-Rose (Tiahna M. Rose), and I’m a content creator, entrepreneur, and brand builder behind The Rose House (Youtube), along with my lifestyle and vlog channel (Tiahnarosevlogs). What began as sharing everyday spaces and routines has grown into a multi-platform business focused on digital storytelling, strategic brand partnerships, and sustainable income through content.
I approach content as a business, not just a creative outlet. I’m intentional about building multiple income streams through long-form content, short-form video, and brand collaborations, while staying rooted in authenticity and consistency. Balancing entrepreneurship with real-life responsibilities has shaped how I work—I build systems, not hustle, and focus on long-term growth over short-term wins.
Right now, I’m focused on scaling my brand with more structure—refining my content strategy, strengthening partnerships, and creating systems that support predictable income and long-term stability. I’m in a season of intentional growth, aligning creativity with sustainability and building a brand designed to last.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
A part of me that has served its purpose and must now be released is the belief that growth requires constant overextension. Early in my career, operating in a highly self-reliant, do-everything-myself mode helped me build discipline, resilience, and the foundation of my brand. That mindset was necessary at the beginning.
At this stage, however, it’s no longer sustainable or strategic. I’m intentionally moving away from survival-based decision-making and toward building with clarity, structure, and long-term vision. This means prioritizing systems, valuing my time appropriately, and making choices that support scalable income growth rather than short-term visibility.
Releasing that earlier version of myself has allowed me to approach my work more strategically — not just as a creator, but as a business owner focused on longevity, alignment, and measurable growth.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that she doesn’t need to rush to prove her worth. The discipline, work ethic, and vision were always there — even when the results hadn’t caught up yet. Trusting the process, protecting her confidence, and allowing growth to unfold at its own pace would have made the journey lighter without changing the outcome.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is real, but it’s curated. What people see is an intentional reflection of my values, work ethic, and creative vision — not the full picture. The quieter work, the decision-making, and the moments of uncertainty happen behind the scenes, and they’re just as real. I’ve learned that both can coexist: authenticity doesn’t require full access, only honesty.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I think people may misunderstand the intention behind my work. From the outside, it can look like content or aesthetics, but at its core, everything I build is about ownership, sustainability, and creating long-term stability. The visuals are just the entry point. The real legacy I’m focused on is showing what’s possible when you treat creativity as a business, not just a passion, and when you build with intention rather than urgency.
