Garland, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is garland paynther from toledo Ohio. I move to Atlanta in 2022 from Charlotte North Carolina what originally brought me here was work. And since I been here I found a new love for running it has opened up doors for me I met life long friends and it lead me into starting my own run club called built 2 last and also being a servant to my community with assisting my my efforts along with my community with feeding the less fortunate with our big wave family on every first Saturday of the month
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Getting people to run is never smooth lol but it’s beneficial in a lot of ways. But yes starting it was different I wouldn’t say ALL difficult because of the passion and vision I had but not only that building a team aspect came with its own challenge because one person can’t do everything. Uhm Thanks to my team my co founder and leaders sitting down with them

I’m a Tesla warehouse manager been doing it for 5 years and counting and I love what I do and I’m most proud of building something that impacts others built 2 last is really a lifestyle movement something some people look forward to every Wednesday I’m proud of what I’ve over come to get here moving to 2 cities before 30 isn’t easy and what sets me apart is my mindset and heart I’m a very determined discipline guy and I’ll
Look out for everyone even before me I’m very self less because at the end of the day I know ima a win but it’s all about bringing someone else up with you
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Getting up out of bed every morning , helping others, leading with my best foot forward, running , sweets, watching sports travel long talking to my family and relaxing ima a simple guy
