Hi Nola, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
NOLA Po Boi, the New Orleans-bred hip-hop powerhouse with deep roots in Southern culture, is setting the streets ablaze again with his brand-new single “Again” featuring Juney Knotzz, one of Money Man’s rising stars. The track, now streaming across major platforms (listen here), captures NOLA Po Boi’s raw authenticity and unmatched storytelling ability, proving yet again why he’s one of the most respected voices in the game.

Born in Vicenza, Italy, and raised in the 9th Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana,, NOLA Po Boi’s story is one of resilience, reinvention, and relentless ambition. After losing everything during Hurricane Katrina, he relocated to Atlanta, where he built his name from the ground up. His undeniable presence soon caught the attention of Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, leading to his first major deal and management under Big Sam of The East Side Boyz.

His debut self-titled album, “NOLA Po Boi”, featured collaborations with industry giants like C-Murder’s TRU Records, Lil Boosie, Juvenile, YoungBloodZ, and The Ying Yang Twins, establishing him as a true Southern heavyweight. Each feature highlighted the respect he had earned—not through hype, but through authenticity and consistency.

After surviving a near-death experience, NOLA Po Boi took a brief hiatus to refocus and rebuild. When he returned, it wasn’t just to make music—it was to create a legacy. Through his independent label, Po Boi Entertainment, he dropped two acclaimed albums, “Protocol” and “Private Party,” both praised for their depth and originality. His singles “Build Up” featuring Jody Breeze and “Travelin’ Fee” produced by Mike WiLL Made-It showcased his ability to evolve while staying true to his Southern roots.

Now, his new single “Again” signals a powerful new era. Featuring Juney Knotzz, the record blends smooth, street-driven production with hard-hitting lyricism and honest reflection. It’s a song about perseverance, loyalty, and continuing to rise no matter how many times life knocks you down. The chemistry between NOLA Po Boi and Juney Knotzz is effortless, delivering an anthem that connects both emotionally and sonically.

Every bar from NOLA Po Boi tells the story of survival and strength—his life as a product of New Orleans’ grit and Atlanta’s determination. His sound carries the energy of someone who’s seen struggle, embraced it, and turned it into something inspiring. His music speaks not just to fans of hip-hop, but to anyone chasing a dream despite the odds stacked against them.

As 2026 approaches, NOLA Po Boi is clearly an artist the world should be paying attention to. He’s not just riding a wave—he’s creating one. His consistent growth, powerful lyricism, and authenticity make him stand out in an industry that often forgets what real storytelling sounds like. With upcoming collaborations, including new material with Zaytoven, NOLA Po Boi is setting the tone for what’s next in Southern rap: bold, honest, and unfiltered truth.

NOLA Po Boi’s journey—from the 9th Ward to Atlanta’s stages—is living proof that real artistry stands the test of time. He’s a survivor, a creator, and a voice that represents the real spirit of the South. And with “Again”, he’s reminding fans and critics alike that greatness doesn’t fade—it multiplies.
