Today we’d like to introduce you to Destine Diaz.
Hi Destine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Peach Co. Cleaning was built from the ground up with one simple goal: to serve our community with care, consistency, and quality. What started as a small, family-run cleaning service quickly grew through word of mouth, repeat clients, and a commitment to treating every home and business like our own.
As demand grew, so did our vision. We expanded into residential, commercial, and specialty cleaning services, built a trusted team, and focused heavily on systems, training, and customer experience. Today, Peach Co. Cleaning proudly serves hundreds of recurring clients and has completed thousands of cleanings, all while staying rooted in our values of reliability, transparency, and community support.
Our growth has been organic, driven by trust, relationships, and a passion for helping people maintain clean, comfortable spaces. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and we’re even more excited about where we’re headed next.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like most small businesses, our biggest challenges came early on. Building trust in a service-based industry took time, consistency, and a lot of hard work. In the beginning, we wore every hat..owner, cleaner, scheduler, marketer and learned quickly how demanding that balance can be.
Scaling was another major hurdle. As demand grew, we had to develop reliable systems, hire and train the right people, and maintain quality across every job. Learning how to grow without sacrificing the level of care our clients expect was a learning curve.
We also navigated the realities of running a family-owned business, managing schedules, growth, and personal responsibilities all at once. But each challenge pushed us to become more structured, more intentional, and more resilient. Those early struggles shaped the strong foundation Peach Co. Cleaning stands on today.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We’re known for our attention to detail, reliability, and the relationships we build with our clients. Many of our customers have been with us long-term, which speaks to the trust we’ve earned and the standards we uphold. Clean isn’t just about appearance for us, it’s about creating spaces that feel cared for, comfortable, and stress-free.
One of the things we’re best known for is the extra care we put into the finishing touches, especially our signature toilet paper and paper towel folds, along with our washcloth origami. These details may seem small, but they’ve become a hallmark of the Peach Co. Cleaning experience.
For us, it’s about creating that “wow” moment when clients walk back into their space. Those final touches signal that the job wasn’t rushed and that every detail mattered. Over time, these folds have become something clients look forward to and even mention when recommending us to friends and family.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Our biggest piece of advice for anyone just starting out is to build your business the right way from day one. Don’t exaggerate or lie about your experience. Everyone starts somewhere, and clients respect honesty far more than overpromising and underdelivering. Focus on doing great work, learning as you go, and letting your reputation grow naturally.
We also strongly recommend legitimizing your business early, get properly licensed, insured, and set up legally. It protects you, your clients, and your future growth. Those steps may feel intimidating at first, but they create credibility and open doors to bigger opportunities down the road.
