Hi, my name is Carla Hanibal — the force behind TIKA FAYA.

The spark started in Haiti, guided by my grandmother’s words: “If there’s a will, there’s a way.” I can still see her face every time I say those words.
With a *BSc in Chemical Engineering and an MBA*, I understand the *science* behind real results—and I wanted something that actually works. Something simple, something effective, something that would finally burn these unwanted fat cells and in the process, help reduce pain, inflammation and swelling that would come from either just starting to work out or increasing the weights.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not easy being a mom, wife, full time employed and business owner. The challenge was to find the balance and the right people to surround yourself with so that you can grow. COVID didnt help at all. Wrnt from being present at every gym and participating in every event to selling a product behind a screen and convincing people that it works. Everyone’s priorities changed.

I am a chemical engineer with a background in manufacturing and safety leadership, specializing in creating practical, results-driven solutions. Through Tika Faya, I combine science, formulation knowledge, and real-world problem-solving to develop products that are effective, safe, and purposeful.
I am known for bridging the gap between technical expertise and everyday use—taking complex science and turning it into something people can trust and benefit from. What I’m most proud of is building Tika Faya as a brand rooted in innovation, discipline, and integrity.
What sets me apart is my ability to blend engineering precision with entrepreneurial vision, ensuring every product is backed by knowledge, intention, and performance—not hype.
