Hi Magic, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
With my father being a musician I was basically born into music. He taught me key music factors at a young age, such as counting music, playing the keyboard & playing the drums. Playing drums became a hobby for me until coming across a mixtape by a friend “Dj Sha too fly”. He heard me mix, told me to never stop & Everything else is history from there. Later on getting the chance to tour with Travie McCoy & Dj in places like Spain, Australia, St. Thomas V.I & more. Entering 3 world Dj competitions, In 2022-2024 I made it to the DMC Dj battle USA finals. Mostly know for unique scratches on popular tracks, flipping the words into my own style.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Hasn’t been a fully smooth road but I don’t look at challenges as obstacles but a chance to improve mentally, physically however.
