Check Out Jessie Murray’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessie Murray.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a videographer from Clayton County. I started my journey to videography as a hobby. It was something enjoyable I did to create content for myself and others. Throughout the journey, I realized that this was more than a hobby. This is a talent that God has blessed me with. The creative vision that I have to help direct a shoot is truly a gift from God. Videography had now turned into cinematography. I produced my first short film, “Don’t get out”, and I have recently released my first show, “ Figuring it Out”.

I help business grow through creating crystal clear creative content that helps scale their business and generate more revenue. I’ve helped multiple non profits and for profits tell their story to the world so that they can bring awareness to what they do or offer. I walk in my purpose everyday by helping others. God is truly showing me the way.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road, but I appreciate it all. When i first started out, no one would give me any information or assistance. I had to take the time and study the craft myself in order to take it to the level that I have now. I appreciate the journey though because now I know how to do everything form lighting, shooting, directing, piloting drones, and editing/ color grading. It was all a part of the journey, and I’m grateful. I thank God everyday.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I create visions through a lens. I’m a visual storyteller teller. Whatever you want to convey to your audience about your product or business, I can help you in a creative way. I do this by putting every piece of the puzzle together from the color grade, sound, and visuals we can paint a story like no other.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
If you are starting out, then just stay focused and be a sponge. Accepted advice that people will give to you good and bad so that way you know what to do and what not to do. Always be a student to the game and never think that you know it all. We can always learn more
