Our business is a proud family-owned venture, co-owned by my oldest sister and me. With over 30 years of experience in the nail industry, my sister’s journey began when our family immigrated to America. To help support us during those early days, she took on work after being introduced to the art of nails by a family friend. This foundation not only shaped her career but also laid the groundwork for our business today.
As for me, my background is nursing. I have been working as a nurse for many years and now I want to venture out. I want to incorporate my knowledge into the nail industry. My focus is not only quality of services but also health and hygiene. I implement strict cleaning protocols, ensure proper sterilization of tools and equipments. At our salon we also use vegan products and different type of essential oils to promote a relaxed experience while our client is there and after they leave
My sister and I, we believe getting your nails done is more than just a routine beauty treatment; it’s an experienced. At our salon, we strive to create a serene and inviting atmosphere where clients can unwind and indulge in a moment just for themselves. We believe that each visit should be a journey, from the moment you step through our doors to the final reveal of your beautifully adorned nails. I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Owning a business is rarely smooth sailing, and our journey has certainly been no exception. As a small, family-run nail salon, we handle every aspect ourselves, which comes with its fair share of challenges. From navigating complex paperwork with landlords to obtaining approval for new signage, each step can feel overwhelming. Renovating the entire salon was a significant undertaking, and sourcing supplies adds another layer of complexity. With the variety of materials needed, we often receive them in large boxes, which poses its own risks; my sister even injured her back while carrying them one time.
Additionally, maintaining our equipment is crucial, as any failure can disrupt our ability to serve clients effectively. Reacting and repairing these items quickly is a constant challenge, especially when time is limited. Time management is another hurdle we face, particularly since most nail salons operate long hours. Balancing work commitments with family life can be tough, especially with little ones at home. Despite these challenges, this salon feels like my baby; witnessing its growth and the joy it brings to our clients makes every struggle worthwhile. The satisfaction we derive from our work fuels our passion and commitment to providing a welcoming and exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Cathy brings her own unique talents to the table, specializing in gel nails, pedicures, and soothing massages. She has a remarkable ability to alleviate pain from ingrown nails without causing any discomfort, making her a favorite among clients who seek both beauty and comfort. Her warm demeanor and expert touch have created a loyal following, with many clients returning year after year.
