Hi Shardae, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2016 I purchased my first home as a recent graduate. The process was confusing, and I was ill informed of the process. For my second home, I understood the major steps of the process but had a similarly frustrating experience with the financing. I felt as though it had to be a better way. More transparency, someone I could relate to, and education of choices, options, and a plan. I have always loved finance and real estate, so I decided that I would help assist others hopefully take some of the stress off of their transactions.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the hardest things to overcome has been building relationships through networking. Many individuals go directly to real estate agents; thus, loan officers must have the ability to market to individuals in addition to agents.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a MBA. I utilize both to educate, provide options, and walk clients through all options. I enjoy teaching individuals about their current financial state while helping them into a home.

Supporting other and giving back to the community. I want others to understand that home ownership is attainable.
