Hi Chinmaya, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
When I was in high school, I knew I wanted to be a dentist. I liked the work life balance compared to other healthcare fields. I went through the rigor of dental school at the University of Minnesota and started practicing in 2019 here in Georgia. Since Covid, I had wanted to own my business. I liked being a dentist. However, I wanted to customize the patient experience to my liking. Then I started working on my clinic and officially opened in 2024.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning a business is never a smooth road. The biggest struggles I have faced in my almost two years of ownership has been dealing with higher supply costs recently and finding people that are commited to your business as much as you are. Once you find them, you have to lock them in!

We are a dental clinic in the Woodstock/Holly Springs area. We do everything a dentist can do – root canals, fillings, crowns, implants. We are focused on patient experience and offer a comfort menu to provide comfort to our patients before, during, and fter appointment. Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I do not consider myself the biggest risk taker. I am more conservative on taking risks as it helps me sleep at night. In my business I have taken smaller risks that have ultimately helped me grow, but nothing big.
