Today we’d like to introduce you to David & Jess Marshall.

David & Jess, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Photography was just a hobby that turned into a full-time job. We started our photography business in 2006 in Pensacola, FL, mainly photographing weddings and family portraits on the beach. When we moved back to Atlanta (Jess’s hometown), we made a shift into headshots and events, while still photographing families and couples.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been some struggles for us as a husband and wife team, but the challenges have made us stronger as a couple and business owners. Learning to balance work and personal life is till something we have not completely mastered, but we are pretty content.

As you know, we’re big fans of David & Jess Photography. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a husband & wife photography team that specializes in natural, relaxed portraits and headshots. Our goal is to give our clients clean images that are authentic and warm. David always brings out the best smiles and Jess helps clients feel comfortable and confident in their poses. We also photograph corporate events and a limited number of weddings each year.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
We both can be awkward in front of the camera, so we completely understand our client’s apprehension when their photo session starts. Our posing tips and tricks really help ease those concerns.

Pricing:

• Headshot Option 1 – 1 outfit, 2 edited images = $150
• Headshot Option 2 – 2 outfits, 4 edited images = $300
• Headshot Option 3 – 3 outfits, 6 edited images = $450
• Portrait Option 1 – half hour shoot, 10 edited images = $250
• Portrait Option 2 – full hour shoot, 20 edited images = $500
