Hi Rovi, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my journey by building skills through hands-on experience, problem-solving, and adapting quickly to change. Early on, I learned how to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and stay accountable for results—lessons that shaped my work ethic note. Over time, I took on greater responsibility, refined my technical and organizational skills, and became more intentional about growth and long-term stability.

Today, I’m focused on leveraging my experience, resilience, and discipline to contribute meaningfully in a structured environment while continuing to learn and advance. My path hasn’t been linear, but it has made me resourceful, dependable, and driven to move forward with purpose.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
he road has not been smooth. One of my biggest challenges has been limited access to traditional funding. Despite consistently building, operating, and sustaining my work, I was often unable to secure loans or grants that could have accelerated growth.

This meant operating without a financial safety net while watching less experienced or less committed organizations receive resources more easily. As a result, I had to be disciplined, resourceful, and strategic—reinvesting revenue, scaling carefully, and learning to do more with less.

While this slowed certain opportunities, it strengthened my ability to manage risk, stay accountable, and build with intention. Those challenges ultimately shaped my resilience and long-term vision.

CarnivalLyfe Events LLC is a culture-driven events and entertainment company focused on creating immersive Caribbean-inspired experiences that blend music, community, and lifestyle. The brand specializes in producing high-energy events, festivals, and branded activations that celebrate Caribbean culture while delivering professionally executed, scalable experiences across multiple cities.

What sets CarnivalLyfe apart is its ability to build recognizable event brands, cultivate loyal audiences, and execute consistently without relying on heavy institutional backing. I define success as sustainability, impact, and growth over time. It means building something that can operate consistently, support the people involved, and create real value beyond short-term wins. Success is having the structure, resources, and stability to continue evolving while staying true to purpose
