Conversations with Cameron Watson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Watson.

Hi Cameron , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Cameron but I go under the artist name Antonius. Antonius is inspired by my middle name Antonio. I am a NYC & Atlanta based model and alt/R&B music artist. I started modeling in December of 2025 to start getting into the creative scene while finishing up my debut Alt/R&B E.P. I will release the first single and music video in March. Modeling happened fast for me and quickly got me connections to other people and places in the industry including places like New York City where I am walking three Fashion shows and shooting my second music video for my second single. Things are new for me but looking up and I can’t wait to share my art with Atlanta and soon the world.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
God is opening doors for me. The hard part was becoming a creative. Some of the best artists especially in music had to struggle first. I was raised by a single mom in the middle of nowhere Alabama and we faced tons of struggles together. Those struggles are what made me an artist and a creative. From an early age I was exposed to the cruelty of this world and the way I moved passed it was through being creative. Making music and expressing myself releases it and allows me to share those experiences with the world. Our struggles uniquely shape us.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an alternative R&B music artist and fashion model. I specialize in vocals, producing, and song writing on the music side of things and editorial, print, and runway on the modeling side of things.

What matters most to you?
Inspiring people through the gifts God gave me. Even if you aren’t a believer I believe people should explore themselves and their gifts. I want to provoke and inspire. The world needs more self reflection and love.
