Today we’d like to introduce you to Eddie “Leo” Marshall III.
Hi Eddie “Leo”, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Eddie “Leo” Marshall III also known as King Leo and my journey has been a mix of faith, consistency, and creativity that kept evolving into bigger rooms and bigger responsibilities. I started as an artist and storyteller with something to say, and music was one of my first real foundations. Over the years I’ve created albums, developed my sound, and had the chance to record in some of Atlanta’s most respected rooms places like Headquarters Recording Studio, Patchwerk Recording Studios, and Penthouse Studios. Those sessions weren’t just about the music they were where I learned professionalism, discipline, and what it means to execute at a high level.
That path also opened doors to connect and create with people I genuinely respect working with artists and producers like T.I., Gucci Mane, London on da Track, Nick Fury, RedZone, and Kia Shine. Those moments were full-circle for me confirmation that the work was translating and that I belonged in those spaces.
As I grew, that same creative drive expanded beyond music into film/TV development, branding, and building businesses that reflect my values. Today, everything I do whether it’s a record, a production, or a client experience comes back to the same mission: create premium work with purpose, and leave people better than I found them.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. A lot of my journey has been building while learning wearing multiple hats, funding projects out of pocket, and still trying to keep the quality high. Early on, one of the biggest challenges was consistency when results weren’t immediate: staying focused when doors didn’t open fast, people didn’t always understand the vision, or opportunities felt gatekept.
I’ve also had to grow into the business side contracts, budgeting, marketing, systems because talent alone doesn’t scale. But every obstacle sharpened me. It taught me how to be resilient, how to stay professional under pressure, and how to keep evolving without losing myself.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in storytelling and creative production bringing ideas to life across music, film/TV, and brand building. A lot of people know me for my ability to take a concept from “just a vision” to something polished, structured, and ready for audiences whether that’s an album, a visual campaign, or a full series.
I’m most proud of Deal Keeper: The Scarifice and seeing that world come to life. That project represents years of growth writing, producing, building the team, pushing through obstacles, and staying consistent until it became real. And I’m proud that it’s not a one time moment there are other programs in motion now that are finally coming into fruition, and that’s a powerful feeling as a creator.
What sets me apart is that I’m not just creative I’m intentional and professional about execution. I care about quality, details, and the experience people have when they watch, listen, or engage. I also bring a unique blend of disciplines: the music background gives my work rhythm and emotion, and the production/business mindset helps me package projects in a way that can actually move in the real world.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Creating makes me happy music, film, building brands, all of it. I’m happiest when I’m in motion, improving, and bringing vision to life. It’s satisfying because it’s not just art for me it’s legacy.
